Cool. I think it depends on what you're doing. I have a lot of Milwaukee lights and like them all. But my go-to work lights are the pivoting head lights with magnetic bases. So handy to be able to stick them on what you're working on and aim them perfectly. The pivot head 2113-21 has a two flood modes and a spot mode. The 2114-21 is a great little flood light, but no spot. The aluminum flashlights are good if you need a flashlight, not as a work light. To me, work light means hands free. Head lamps are awesome, but a lot of people don't wear them because they look kind of weird. I don't give a damn about looks when I'm working. I usually have a hard hat on anyway. The M12 spotlight is awesome for a tight beam and long distance. As is the Search Light. It has the bonus of a pivoting head and a great flood along with a spot that is identical to the stand alone spotlight as far as I can tell. But these are NOT pocket lights. The decision on the two in the video comes down to whether the focus outweighs the side difference. I have the 700lumen older version. Great flashlight with focus beam, but not handy as a work light.

Another advantage of the focusing is that it shows you to effectively change the intensity between the three lumen settings by dispersing the light more if it is too bright.

I have tested and used many different flash lights..I have a collection of inexpensive and very expensive flash lights and my go to flash light is the Milwaukee 700 lumes the first generation. this flashlight is a beast I love it so much I had to go and buy a second one..I jog at night and it's almost like jogging in daylight.. Im looking into buying the 1100 lumes hope it works as good as my 700 lumes flashlight...grate review thanks

IMHO , the Milwaukee 1100 wins hands down just for the focus ability. Plus with the Milwaukee you can easily throw a couple extra batteries in ur pocket.

The terminology would be the stinger has more "throw" while the 800 milwaukee has more "flood" while the 1100 is trying to be a mix. Also yes the stinger has a white led which has its ups and downs.

Thank god, someone talks about USB C. I hate that Milwaukee charges 320 for a radio with regular USB ports and not usb c.

Right? The new Top Off power supply has a 3 amp Type C port so I think they might be moving to type C in the future, I hope.

I also discovered there is next to no difference between the 2. I think it is because the 800l has a clear lense and the 1100 has a frosted lense. Either way they are both great general purpose lights. I gave my brother the 800l and put the 1100 light in the wife's purse. As mechanic myself I have a hundred different lights but haven't tried that stinger....yet.

I thought the same thing, clear vs frosted. Battery is doing better than I thought it would so far.

The Neutral color of these Milwaukee flashlights gives better lighting in my opinion. The Stinger uses a white lite.

Focus the 1100 lumen milwaukee into a tight beam like the Stinger has and compare them!

Milwaukee 1100 Lumens Flashlight wins by a Mile. Just the Focus, spot/flood ability is worth the extra $10. With the different levels of Twist/Flood, you can mount on your Bicycle or use it for Hiking. With a Fixed spot light, it's not practical for use in certain situations especially when hiking. Was considering the insane 4,000+ Lumens Flashlights by let's say Nitecore, Olight, Manker, etc.. but heard it ONLY stays on for couple minutes then drops down to 1/4 of it's Max Output cuz it's so damn hot to operate on high(will burn up, damage the light). And they're way expensive like $250+ up...uses 4 batteries, very bulky & similar or low run time as this Milwaukee. i'm curious "if" this light uses the same batteries as their 550 lumens Carabiner Light or the 445 lumens Rover light. From observation, it looks like the same type of battery but i haven't tried it yet....will be great if it does.

It does use the same battery but the flash light comes with the upgraded 3.0 where the other lights came with a 2.5 but all use the same cartridge.

I'm curious to how either compares to the 700 lumen 2110-20, it also has a spot/flood focus (doesnt look as smooth as the twist on that 1100 as it's a push/pull) and it also has the frosted lens, so as it's close to the 800, how much does that frosted lens effect it? If it's a lot perhaps that explains why the 1100 is not much brighter?

The 2110-21 was one of the worst products Milwaukee ever made in my opinion. That light has terrible reviews so not just my opinion. It was good when it worked, I warranted two of them and I was do frustrated with the third I threw it into a lake or I would have added to video. The focus would not hold due to the sliding design, pulled vacuum and would slide back to flood position. It also had many other flaws but the new lights have performed flawless for me and the 3.0 battery is doing good as well. I do think the frosting hinders the brightness of the light but it's still an amazing light.

These lights are "ok" i guess, if your buying in brick and morter only i suggest the coast professional line that has 2100 lumins, is rechargeable and also has an adjustable beam at only a 70$ price point with just as good of quality build. However I would really recommend trying anything from the fenix line up such as the fenix tk35, these lights will far out preform the milwaukee or the coast and might be the best you can buy at a normal brick and mortar hunting supply store. Lastly if you buy online you will find many flashlights within roughly the same price point that will literally make all of these flashlights look like a dimly lit match, im not even kidding. I recommend looking into acebeam, throughnight, and olight are some good brands that will start you off. Be careful, the rabbit hole goes deep. You can litteraly light up the bottom of the clouds with some of these lights.

How many of you has used this none stop in 12-30 mins atleast in the night ? Boy this gets hot I’ll say avoid more than that time at max lumens hate they don’t mention in manual they make great tools but my tests say I can’t recommend more than 15min use with out letting it cool down I don’t think lion cells love heat anyone here that really knows of the chemistry might know anyways I will recommend only to use the medium mode of either lamp to avoid so much heat built it many don’t tell you this cause it’s a review hmm and run time was 123mins not the 2hour or 180 minutes instead of the 2hr claim I know in this one I’m not supporting the tool 😞😂 . Yes it’s bright warm color tone and reaches far like 30m of distance straight but with a height of a tree in my test of 40m tall was reasonable . The temperature was 103dregrees .
