Great little saw for light work such as basic trim, different types of siding, flooring,and some sheet material . Definitely good for when the 7-1/4” is overkill.

@@stevenfoust3782 absolutely 👍 the fact it cuts 2x4 is huge for me ……. Is it the fastest no but it’s pretty darn good

That was kinda abrupt ending but always good to have another vantage point. I have not had them locally or able or order it on hds website non exisant. So I'm kinda jealous since the old one I liked but that blade brake sounds like the saw is working really hard all the time. I listen for stuff like that around Mr so people arnt stripping screws or dimming the lights with a chop saw/wormdrive and blowing breakers. You hear when things are wrong more than right and I do like the hook so it's worth the upgrade. Thanks for the video maybe do a little shorts plowing into a 4x4 rip cut so show the difference in rpm? Also that will get you on the radar of some new viewers who enjoy extreme looking things.

Sure thing I will do some cuts soon………. My wife was yelling at me so I cut the video off so nobody can hear me get in trouble for playing with my toys in the Shop ………. Keep checking HD website mine had Qty 0 for weeks then one day they had 5 in stock I ran over to get it so Keep your eye out.

Have to respect the MVP of our lives the woman(or significant other to be inclusive) they make the world go around. Im lucky i get to play with my toys often at work and it dosent leave me wanting too much. I can wait for the craze to die down on thoes saws and chances are they will be part of a battery promo if i dont get one for the 99. have you checked out pipeline? some good stuff and dewalt is comming out with a oil impule driver as well but i dont see using a 20v system much anymore. Always something new and shiny around the corner!

@@MattHmm-rq6dn always something new….. they gotta keep the stuff coming so we all keep buying. I watched a couple of people live at pipeline. It all looks great the innovation is great. I am interested in all the accessories for the packout rail systems can’t wait.

How do the guts compare? My brother said the old little M12 was constantly getting stuck and worn out.
@Tooling_with_Newman3 ай бұрын
@@pamelah6431 it’s more powerful and faster I couldn’t tell you the numbers but I can definitely feel a difference……. I can see what your brother was talking about because it is a Little saw. If using it to cut big cuts it will get stuck. Overall it is for sure a better saw worth the upgrade
