So we cut a bunch of trees down last fall, & I had the need for a small cordless saw to tidy up all the brush. I already had a Milwaukee M12 Impact gun, so pooling the same batteries for both tools made sense.
Just a quick test using it to cut up limbs & brush in the backyard.
This will come in handy when mowing, to trim small branches that get in the way.
@@@ Please note when making my cuts I was not applying much down pressure, in case it seems the saw takes too long to make a cut.
Here's a link to the whole tool kit- www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08...

@@@ UPDATE- a month after I bought the saw, I took it on a landscaping job with me; over a 2-3 hour period I cut & filled my 20 foot landscape trailer with branches & brush on ONE battery charge, & still had 25% charge left on it. Definitely worth the money.

The closer you hold it to the case you will see a difference. Just repeating your comment and saying it is like it’s big brother which will pull the saw toward the points that keep it steady.

This may be a stupid question, but do batteries charge quicker in the UK due to our higher voltage, or is it regulated by the charger? Been looking at this tool for a while, hoping that with the launch of the M18 version in a couple of weeks, the price will go down a bit. When the M12 came to the UK, it cost around £370!😱

It would prob do it, but I think it would be hard on it. Battery powered saws aren't really meant for that. I would get an electric saw or chainsaw with more torque for that
