I've never seen these Milwaukee linemans in person before, I've only seen them online. I've never seen any electricians or plumbers carry the Milwaukee pliers in their tool pouch either. Here's an idea. Since Milwaukee and Carlyle are both trying so hard to make inroads into the electrical tool market. Maybe you should go to NAPA and get a pair of Carlyle linemans pliers and then make a "Milwaukee vs Carlyle" comparison video pulling out nails, cutting different metals and twisting on wire nuts. Pit these two brands against each other and See which brand come out on top.

I'm buying some of these. I got some new Knipex combo pliers and they are blunt as hell, blunter than my old ones. A good test would be if they can cut tiny wires too, because some pliers don't close enough to cut data cables etc

First off I agree with you about the dip handles over the cushion handles. However I have 27 years of electrical experience and have to say that Klein, Knipex and Snap On are the industry high bar standard when it comes to linemans pliers, and Milwaukee power tools are the best, their hand tools however aren't bad but they just don't have a place at that elite table when it comes to hand tools

Thanks for the video Vince I've been wondering about some of these Milwaukee hand tools some of them might have and I like them some of them I have and I'm not so impressed the linesman plier I from Milwaukee I don't have yet I've got two other brands. I would like to know how well those pliers do at pulling cable and wire through various lengths of conduit as well as through wall cavities and things of that nature. I have multiple pairs of linesman pliers now they're all different sizes but I want one with a 90 degree curve at the end of one handle making it easier while pulling I noticed those did not have a curve at the end of either handle neither do any of the ones that I've currently have I wonder if Milwaukee offers a pair like that I know Irwin does the problem I have with the Irwin offering that has the curved handle is it don't quite open up wide enough for the size that they are. Also was wondering do those Milwaukee linesman have the style handle that incorporates the place to put the fish tape to grab and pull it at the top of the handle right before the pivot

When it comes to Linesman though, I will ONLY use Knipex...In the Sparky world, Klein's are the king....But, For the same amount of money, sometimes less, you can get a better cutting, lighter in weight (Knipex linesman weight 9oz, any other is almost a pound or more), better feeling pair of pliers with Knipex...I can def agree I am a dipped handle dude. I think these cushion or comfort grips are just too bulky. The dipped handles help the tool slide in and out of your pocket or pouch easier. They also wear nicely and get that 'film crust' over them over the years....

These aren’t bad. They aren’t Klein’s but then again they aren’t quite the price of Klein’s. If there was a weak point it would be the cutting jaws. My $9 Quinn harbor freight Lineman’s Pliers cut better. The fit and finish are nice and if you’re all about Milwaukee you’ll like the red dipped handles. In my opinion go with the Klein’s... smoother action & better cutters.

Video on how to claim a warranty on a Milwaukee and Dewalt
@sknight0391
@sknight0391 5 жыл бұрын
It's my understanding that the Milwaukee's carry a "hassle-free" warranty. You can take them to any place that sells Milwaukee, and has the same tool on the shelf, and swap it out no questions asked. Which is something that has gotten a lot of Klein guys to jump the fence now that Klein has gotten a lot pickier with their warranty exchanges. I don't want to pay 20 plus dollars for one single tool and then get a hassle if I ever have to swap it out.

They r good and they work. However if u use these on a daily basis the knives do not hold up like Klein at all.

@@VCGConstruction one of the linesman pairs that I have is Craftsman Professional from probably 20 years ago also made in USA I remember when I first got them I want to say I paid 32 bucks for them at Sears hardware when I first became an HVACR technician. I love that pair. Nothing feels better than an Old Quality Tool that you got new & broke in yourself to the point where it is now.

Where it's made don't matter, your TV, your clothes, everything else is made in, the phone u used to watch this video was made in China, who cares

I know the quick set watter pump pliers suck they don't grip good and the way the handles are made they smash your fingers pretty bad when a $5 set of pliers work better then $20 pliers

Milwaukee lines and dikes are by far the worst-in-class. Can’t believe how bad Milwaukee shit the bed on 80% of their hand tools when their power tools are top of the line.
