Hi Robert, the C6 I built is working splendidly. I still can hardly believe it. It is a first generation case, low/reverse and valve body with a large capacity high/reverse and forward from a generation two. I was told that would work and it did. Then while it was still fresh in my mind I found a complete generation two core and rebuilt it, but the high/reverse and forward use fewer clutches. Maybe a passenger car unit?

could be out of a lighter car you can still get the drums for a diesel and even early E4OD units to hold more clutchs that will work in the c-6 case

I didn't know C-6's were used with diesels and I SURE didn't know early E40D units used the same clutch units. Thank you.
