I've bought a full set of the brushless kit, the combi drill, impact driver, jigsaw, and circ saw. I work for a loft fitting company and they whole kit is head and shoulders above anything else I used to use dewalt but after trying milwaukee id never go back the quality is spot on and the power from just a 4.0ah battery is unreal I can drive in 4x100mm screws with no pilot hole all day long.

Jigsaw? Thats not a common tool in a combo kit.

@@DragonBuilds its available to buy in a combo kit but the one I wanted wasn't available in a kit at the time so I bought the set individually

Impact drivers CAN and DO drill holes, they make hex drive drill bits for them. It's actually all the rage right now, since it's easier on the wrists.
@DragonBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Yes, there are impact rated drill bits. My set of titanium nitride bits from Milwaukee are impact rated, but I just use them in my drill as there's less wobble in the chuck. Many bits like ship augers don't have impact rated versions.

Also use your drill in the drill setting on the clutch and Boom power to screw any screw you want. Impacts are hammer drills without a chuck or clutch.

TIM from Canada I just bought the kit from Home Depot 1/2 hammer drill..Impact driver..(2..1.5 batteries.. The problem Iam having putting on the batteries on the charger they don’t seem to go on very well... people who say the battery charger is easy to pour batter reason well this is a total lie... do you not know why Milwaukee has made it difficult to put on batteries to this charger.. should’ve made a different choice when they were doing this...

Great! It drills through heavy steel easily and the chuck doesn't loosen the way cheap homeowner drills do. Battery life is good and charging is fast. I highly recommend it, but for a little more you can get a combo kit with a drill and impact driver if need one too.

As someone in the trades, specially plumbing, any tool in the Milwaukee M18 line is not just for hobbyist or light trades work. This stuff is the real deal. Outperforms ridgid, Bosch, dewalt, Mikita, all of them.

@@32ronron Yes, milwaukee is the real deal for professional use. I'm just saying it works great for my hobby projects. Ryobi crap drill claims to be good for hobby projects but it wouldn't go through metal

@@DragonBuilds Instead of getting an El Cheapo Ryobi, you can catch one of these quality brands on sale. Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt....They are worth the extra 20 or 30 bucks.
@DragonBuilds4 жыл бұрын
@@UberKrispy Agreed. I had an El Cheapo Ryobi impact driver kit. $80 for one 1.5 ah battery, 24 hour slow charger and a crappy impact. Broke screwing some duct strap to rafters. I bought the Milwaukee M18 impact kit for about $30 more instead and it is still going strong.

The clutch is like the torq then
@DragonBuilds3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The clutch adjusts the torque, which is useful for driving small screws.

Sep. 2021 I just bought the M18 MILWAUKEE 2802 and comparing it with another that I have the Brushless 1/2 Makita 18v Dhp485sye, the MILWAUKEE 2802 is louder, the motor whistles, it heats up more, the battery does not fit at all, the charger seems iron but as a positive point It has a better Chuck, it feels powerful, 5-year warranty, it looks well manufactured. Between MILWAUKEE and Makita the power seems similar, at the moment I prefer the makita since the motor is quieter, the motor and charger hardly get hot, time will tell if the heating in the MILWAUKEE is a problem or not. It has cost me USD$185, winning the makita for USD$12 dlls less. I hope my comments contribute something positive to your purchases.

YOU THINK THE MIKITA IS FAR BETTER THAN THE MILWAUKEE. OBVIOUSLY YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PROFESSIONAL TOOLS. YOU MUST BE SOME CLOWN THAT THINKS HE KNOWS EVERYTHING. #1 MILWAUKEE #2 BOSCHE #3 MIKITA #4 DEWALT #5 RIDGID

Cody, why are you yelling? Also there have been problems with some of the Milwaukee chargers. Check reviews on their website. Also it's one persons thoughts on the drills. You calling someone else not smart but you misspelled several brand names.
