This is a really nice vacuum with pretty much all the accessories you will need. Run time is very good. At low speed I got 29 minutes of operation, and at the high speed I got 18 minutes. The powered head unit is nice, but it doesn't roll across carpeting very easily until you lower the head of the vacuum down to an angle that is uncomfortable to use. The floor tool has rollers on it that makes it really easy to use, and will likely save scratching on the floor. The tool holder is kind of a joke, this should really come with a bag to hold all the pieces.
The vacuum is really well built and emptying the bin could not be easier.

Will this fit in a Packout ammo can? What size battery did you use for your runtime test?
@FernbarkFrist

You can probably just squeeze the vac into it, but I don't know about all the accessories. I used a 5ah battery, since that is what you get if you buy the kit, and is a pretty common battery.

I've watched about six demo videos for this vacuum. Yours was the first one I found that showed how easily the roller can be removed from the powered roller head for cleaning or removing obstructions. It would be great if someone would try to show if Milwaukee's roller is susceptible to "hair wrap"....I know it may not be a common job site issue, but it is one that is common to roller-headed vacuums. The roller cleaning process is an ordeal with my Dyson when I have to address the "hair wrap" that it collects on hard surface flooring.

I don't understand about it not working well on carpet, I watched the workshopaddict review and he used it on carpet just fine. Milwaukee dropped the ball by not having a height adjustment, I am 6' 1" so I won't be bending down to use it. I was going to buy this to clean low pile carpet in an office building until you said that it does not do well on carpet so I am glad that I came across your video.

That’s why I bought it. Power heads are for carpet. It will do thin carpet. No led on the power head is also lame. Milwaukee owns hoover. They should take notes from them on how to build a vaccume.

How is it with dust? Does it clog the filter up or does it actually separate it out into the bin if you were to use it at the end of a Reno with some drywall dust?
@FernbarkFrist
@FernbarkFrist 3 жыл бұрын
I have only used it with saw dust. I am not sure how it will work with drywall. The filter did not clog up with saw dust, but that is no where near as fine as drywall. The pre-filter would be pretty easy to knock loose a blockage and re-install. Or cut a bunch of your own, and have them ready for a quick swap.

Question, is there a way to rip off that rubber thing on the roller head so I can use this on carpet. I believe that rubber piece prevents dirt from being passed over though. Hmm, any thoughts? I totally agree. Milwaukee missed the ball on this one. I bought the m-18 tea kettle looking vaccume and it’s pretty decent. But this thing. Huge, bulky, battery zapping. Poor design. Great manufacturing quality though. Built very well. Just misleading product from Milwaukee. I guess the backpack vac is still their best.
