In this video unbox and review the Milwaukee M18 2825-20ps Pole saw with Quik-lok attachment system. Will a string trimmer be powerful enough for a 10” chain saw?

Per the instructions, the strap doesn't go around your neck but put one arm through it and it rests on your shoulder.

Thanks for the video and the info. I was having trouble with the saw spinning as well. I too thought that I wasn't hooking it up right but I did everything right. I even oiled and adjusted it. I was really disappointed. Sadly I took it back... and here I am watching KZbin just to find out if I missed anything. Maybe I'll buy it back and try again

I would, it actually is a very nice unit, it was most likely what I did and not fully inserting the poles so the gears line up correctly

0:05 you opened up a can of worms on dust collection systems the blocked anyone from feedback. Why?

@@bobbg9041 I am all for differing opinions and good constructive feedback, but it devolved into a lot of trolling. Especially against the sponsor.

Hey the wrench goes behind the battery. It is placed there so you need to take off the battery to get to the wrench to work on the saw. Check some other reviews, they comment on it. Great review btw!

Good review. You mentioned that you also own the Makita. Is that 18v and how it compared to this milwaukee?
@BitnerBuilt
@BitnerBuilt 3 ай бұрын
It was the 18v Makita if you read the comments on this video there were several others with the Makita with the same feedback, literally every first shot that I made with it, it would only drive the nail halfway so I would have to keep a scrap piece of wood near me to shoot into before my project. Then, if I didn’t shoot for a few minutes, it would happen again and so I would forget to shoot a throw away, it would ruin my project. Definitely not LA reliable nailer should operate.

@@BitnerBuiltthanks for your reply but I was referring to the polesaw in this video. I know that Makita nailers are not up to it.

@@dombaker1924 OH! Sorry! Just did a video on nailers and didn’t look close enough. That Makita pole saw was fine 18v yes. I had the dedicated unit not the modular saw/edger/etc unit. So it was a bit underpowered compared to this modular milwaukee

0:05 , i have the polesaw attachment mine works fine, ive even cut 6" dia branches with it something i should have gotten out my 21" bar chainsaw for, but it did the trick just took a littel longer. What i foud with the system you hang a 5.0 amp hour battery on it even as a trimmer its heavy compared to a small gas trimmer. The edger attachment not to bad but you start using the polesaw and your older even without the extension it needs a sholder strap. I can imagine putting a 9amp hour battery in one. Its not that its heavy so much as youll get fatigue using it a strap helps a lot no matter with tool you put on it. Honestly the strap should come with the main unit, not the extension pole. You dont even get that with the chainsaw its seprate it should come with one, and let you buy extra extension if you really need a long polesaw.

Yea it’s got decent power. We have been using it for the past three months with the trimmer attachment. The strap honestly isn’t that great, I would still go with a third party, better one.

Great video. I got the ego saw instead of this 1. Like the features of the ego and I'm on that platform

Thanks! My only gripe with ego is the size / weight of their battery packs. This pole saw is heavy enough so like that it runs on the standard drill size battery

There is a screch holder near the battery. You have to take the battery out to use the scrench. Safety first.
