Vince, you folks at VCG have some awesome videos. That ending was epic. We're a farm in Michigan that uses Milwaukee tools exclusively. It's not because of the color scheme, the cool graphics or the companies marketing, we use them because they work, all the time. We're incredibly cruel to our tools, they don't sit very long and we're too busy to screw around with regular maintenance. We're still using metal bodied/corded Milwaukee's from the 50s & 60s. Just found an old metal SAWZALL buried under a bunch of barn crap...still works.

The old Porta Cables are actually good; so keep an eye out. They later got sold as a sinking ship; taken on for their name recognition, then dragged through the dirt with cheap tools. They got sold to Black & Decker who also used to make good tools and I think they bought Craftsman who used to also make better tools (I guess they're still ok; I've got a sawzall that's been doing great). They own Dewalt too.

Bring that Dewalt to Napa. They have deals where they take trade ins on Dewalt tools. They might take that even though it’s cut in half. We had an old Dewalt recip Saw all taken apart and they still took it and gave us a new one at discount.

I bought there reciprocating saw in 1999 and it had all the same features plus the saw would bend in the middle to 90deg. I still use the saw to this day. The only thing it didn’t have was today’s battery.

The only thing Dill likes about the dewalt is the blade can go in sideways. I am guessing that is a patent thing ? Never seen any other recip saw have that feature.

Thanks Vince, I've been wanting to see one in action for a while. The adjustable foot would also be great so the blade doesn't punch out through the gyprock ( drywall for you yanks ) when working in a cavity. That carry strap seems odd. diagonally attached and from the bottom of the bag, does it work? It looks like it would make the bag fall over.

I bought mine on Black Friday that year and got the 12A-hr battery. I have used it mainlybfor pruning applications until I bought my chainsaw. This saw is a beast and worth every penny! I do love the contractor bag, but i wish there was a blow mold case for it like the M18 fuel sawzall kit. My only complaint on the tool does not feature the 360° rotating shaft as found on their 13A corded super sawzall.
