Really enjoyed watching that. I have similar sized batteries from basengreen, hooentonfind a toolbox in which they fit. Milwaukee too expensive here in Europe. One remark though. In your description box you speak of a 200Ah system. But you have 2x 100ah 12v batteries connected as a 24v system. Meaning you have a 100ah 24v system.

@i.b.lancer Maybe, you could install a thicker aluminum plate instead of the thinner one to give the wire connector more wiggle room. Bunched up wiring can cause more problems down a bumpy road. ⚠️🔥

Loving this one too! Hadn't thought of riv-nuts, but they surely do look neater than bolts. The custom instrument panel really makes it pop. I'm wanting to do a 200AH system with a 3KW inverter in the Ridgid wheeled box. Still figuring out the math on everything. Thanks for all the ideas.

It's difficult to find batteries that can support more than 100 Amp output continuously. At 3 kW the dc voltage will sag a lot.

I seriously doubt if I will be pushing more then 2 kw through this little system. The 3000 watt inverter is more for the headroom. It was perfect for the project so I bought it.

I'm actually starting on one of these right now. I built one out of a Pelican case and a couple ammo cans but I wanted something bigger. I went with the Husky version just because I bought the whole set for 180 and the Milwaukee would have been closer to 300

Yup, almost done. It's hard to get time to work on this project, I'm doing 60+ hours a week at my day job. Maybe one day this KZbin thing will make me enough money to just work on video projects but for now I work on it when I can. I appreciate you watching and will get it out as soon as I can.

People have made the handle removable so it fits in with a cover. It takes 5 minutes to do.

Great job! I’m looking at having one built in to the next smaller PackOut with just the top handle. And having it built at the Festool SysPower bank spec. I think it’s 5000 watt but it’s extremely compact.

I dont know what you decided to do with that alum. face plate but you asked... Id round the corners and chamfer all the edges or at least round off the edges so it doesnt have that 90° edge that says home made. I bought a rivnut rig because of you. Ive been wanting one for at least 40 years. Ive got some double walls on this Dewalt box im using. No sheetrock screws allowed.

I ended up just leaving the plate as is. Nobody’s said anything about it. They all think it looks great, so I’m happy about that. Careful, rivnuts can be addicting. Good luck with your build.

Unfortunately, the batteries I bought are only available in Canada. Here's the link. amzn.to/3Ov7NFX The closest thing on the American Amazon site I could find was this.... amzn.to/45m4eYD But as of this writing it was unavailable. Same goes with this one.. amzn.to/3BJZuyn They all have that common small size which works in the packout box. Pay close attention to the size of the batteries while you're searching in order to maximize the space in the box. I'm sure something will pop up for you. Good luck and thanks for watching.

Be very careful when picking batteries for this box. Depending on the inverter you’re going to use, it will be very easy to buy batteries that are too large. Plan your build out carefully. Good luck.

Yea that's where I'm running into the problem is making sure everything is going to fit. My 1st box fit an 115ah AGM battery group 31. And a renogy 1000w inverter inside and the box that went over is used for the Epever charge controller the BT unit and fuse block.

Well, mines 2400Wh, 3000 watts, infinitely expandable. Took 4 months to build and cost twice as much as the unit your referencing. Plus mine has a ton more features then the Eco Flow. You can't really compare them. Thanks for watching.

Dc to dc converter because it’s a 24v system and one of this box’s intended uses is 12v battery charging. There is an inverter. 24v inverter. Had you actually watched the video you would of known all this.
