I just picked up 4 of the new app connected slim battery packs from HD. Bought all of the stock they got in. Unfortunately they didn’t have the new Hexon shells and vests out yet but expected them by next week. Looking forward to using the new zone control stuff soon!

I don't get how just timing the heat and doing a simple division like that is "technology"? Something so simple you could do it in a PIC microcontroller from the 90s. 😆 Yes it sounds nice, but calling something like this "technology" seems like marketing fluff. Is there any sensing of the heat in this jacket, or is it just regulating using PWM or something? "High/Medium/Low", or ability to set actual temperature?

Yeah, you need the new gear to use the app. The new battery still works with old gear but you can only use the button on the vest
