Did you ever get it working? Looking forward to part two!

I’ve still got the parts sitting in a box. The issue with it was that the main board had been destroyed and several components had been torn off the board with their traces. I’ve got a new board, but haven’t put it together. I actually shot part 2 a couple years ago, but lost the footage. If I can find it, I’ll upload it. Hopefully at some put I’ll do pet 3 and put it all back together and get it running! Thanks for watching!

Do you still have that old panel sitting around? I just bought one and somebody lost the yellow reverse push button. I can't use it at work until I get that sorted out.

Let me check. This project is still sitting in a box, but life called and I haven’t had the time to fix it after all these years. If I’ve still got the panel, I’ll let you know!

I do still have it. Do you still need one?

@@WesMakesStuff Actually I'm good to go. After some intense googling I found a replacement push button. Thank you for the follow up!

How you deduct from the resistance value that it is a full wave electromagnet? I have a similar model and I am not sure how to tell if the electromagnet is broke (open circuit). Another thing...could also be that the current being supplied to the electromagnetic base is missing. Thank you @Wes Makes Stuff

I'm really not sure. The PCB had been destroyed. Looked like a screwdriver ripped a bunch of resistors and caps off.

Did you get it repaired, I have same issue of blinking red light. Have model 4202, serial 598c

Hey steelwork, it’s sitting in a box incomplete. Haven’t had a chance to get it back together. Mine had massive damage to the board and I had to order a new one. Looked like someone took a screwdriver to the electronics.

Just laying in the scrap pile huh
@WesMakesStuff3 жыл бұрын
Well not on the scrap pile. The fella that worked back there had pulled it out. The previous owner had destroyed the electronics and then scrapped it. Pretty common for big companies. When I was at apple, we would literally take hammers to stuff and then throw it in the dumpster. That came from Corporate in California!

It's in my garage at the moment. I got part 2 shot and lost the footage. I'm planning on getting it finished soon so keep an eye open
