First time I've ever won anything. I'm currently building lab's on UK campus and healthcare so these will keep on giving to scientists, students, doctors, and patients. Thank you. They'll definitely get used.

Hey guys both my parents have master plumbing licenses and yes my mother is the first female master plumber in Arkansas. So I was born in a ditch and have been laying pipe all my life (I'm 47). The only thing I would add is a real bubble in the top so as you look down in the ditch from above. This would be handy for assurance and could still be used if a digital malfunction occurred.

Thanks for the opportunity guys! I would use them in finding the pitch of rafters, checking other levels I was suspicious of, and setting the pitch of drain lines.

I am a Commercial Electrician. This would help A LOT, as I install thousands of EMT, RIGID CONDUIT ON PIPE RACKS for piping home-runs into Panels, Gutter Boxes. And EXPOSED CEILING Showing Off All My Pipe Work. I do great work, but I think this will improve the accuracy on all my 90's, offsets, kicks, saddle bends. IT WOULD MAKE MY JOB A LOT EASIER !!!!!! 🎯 The 14" is a Must-have for me !!!! 👍 thnx for the video. Now I know what I need and want.

I am a finish Carpenter and Tiler, who has been working for high end kitchens and bathrooms for the past 10+ years. I have tried lots of levels, including the yellow German branded digital ones. They all have helped me a lot. Milwaukee came up these brand new digital levels, I would love to see how much more efficiency I will get at work.

Setting cabinets for sure. Not having to twist and turn to se the vial at the right angle. Just being able to read the display and know you’re good

As someone who works alone and may not have an ideal line of sight on a bubble, a readout is a welcome change. I'd use it in those instances in a heartbeat.

Being in the new construction/remodel line of work. Being plumb level and square is everything. A Milwaukee Redstick Digital would ensure all of my walls are plumb windows are level giving me the best quality finish possible.

I'm a woodworker, whether I'm working on putting in new studs somewhere in my home. Or in the shop building, I would deffinatly be able to put a Milwaukee level to use. Milwaukee is the only brand I buy, use, or trust.
@robertknowles36775 жыл бұрын
I did not think I had a need for a level until I started my woodworking hobby and converted to a serious DIYer. My wife got involved and now has made more things than I have. No I do not feel emasculated... that much. ;-) However, the harbor freight level, I swear, they are broken. We have been putting off getting a good digital because we wanted to make sure we really will use it. Loving these as they are Milwaukee and we are almost 100% Milwaukee in the shop.
@martylucas85575 жыл бұрын
Rob and Sarah, thanks for the overview. Talk about cool! Milwaukee has taken it to a new level with their Digital Redstick Levels!! If I were to win the levels...first of all I’d go around the house rechecking all of those projects I leveled in via a bubble level or not... Then I’d use it for a couple of upcoming bathroom remodel projects, e.g. vanity replacement, tile curbs, etc.
@stu-po5 жыл бұрын
My house walls and ceiling aren't quite level so when hanging things, or putting up wainscotting, or adding any trim can't actually be on the level or it looks off and I end up with tapered end pieces at the walls. These Milwaukee levels will let me take the wall, floor, or ceiling as a reference point and use that to adjust the cuts to get a perfect visual look for any trim in the room. The whole "level everything" is soon going to be replaced with "level to a local reference" .

I am building a house as my own GC, doing most of the sub contracting myself, as in I am doing most of the work...I am the GC and the sub contractor....so as you can guess, I am doing this because my GC's business went under and he quit, 2nd GC was hired and as we were at the bank signing paperwork on all the red tape and contracts, the bank manager walks in and politely tells us that this company that the GC works for is in a corporation lawsuit with the banks main branch in another city and we cannot use him......wow....so after deciding to use another bank, the bank decided to allow me to be the GC and sub out work or do work myself......I am just now under roof and starting to rough everything in......so being that we will now be saving a good chunk of money, my wife and i decide to add some features that we originally took out because of cost....so now, I am under roof, starting to rough in and I already am over my budget of where I should be at this point in time....I have a cheap-o harbor freight level that I have been using since day 1, a digital would make things easier and make me feel like a professional...lol but at that price point I cannot justify for a one time job.......however, I would gladly use it daily and then hand it down to a contractor that would use it daily......so it would be helping me out a ton, and helping someone else out as well.

Thanks for the quick look. I don't use levels too often, so you may not want to choose my comment. Still, I would really appreciate owning these levels due to me be visually impaired. I severely struggle to see the vile on a standard level. I tried out the Empire one at the store, but its display didn't have enough contrast and was too dim to read. The OLED screen on these levels are perfect since they offer great brightness and contrast. These levels would make life a whole lot easier. Good luck to all. Thanks again for the opportunity.

I would give them to a fellow laborer for a contractor in town, the poor guy has to go into every house and plane down studs because the framers can't crown them correctly. He uses a level to see how well the studs line up, his level isn't very nice so I think he'd appreciate a redstick a whole lot

I work on sprinklers. In most cases I'll need two levels. A lot of times they require me to get down and see if I'm leveled, or tell the helper to do it. Having a audio telling me it's leveled saves time. Time is money. I would like to see how a digital could change the game.
@DumbCarGuy3 жыл бұрын
Hey Milwaukee. What you really need is a digital bubble like the ones you can get for your cell phone. This way I can see the bubble without having to buy a lighted level. Or you could just put a digital readout above the digital level bubble if you want to be that perfect.
@drewt62355 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the review. I would walk around with these hanging off my shoulder and just go bananas checking everything I see for level, plumb, grade etc.🤔🤪😉. For real ide use em for a built in laundry room/closet I have coming up, a wooden gate replacement, banister install why not. deck for my Mama dukes of course. The deck is probably going to be after winter so I can give a good in depth review😎😉.

I’ve had two Craftsman digital levels that my wife gave for Christmas about 15 years ago. The have the traditional bubble levels as well and beep when at 90 and 45 degrees. They also have a laser pointer on them and can be used on a tripod. Although they use AA batteries they still work as good as the day I received them. And it only takes a couple of seconds to turn on. But the new Milwaukee units are pretty cool and if the price ever comes down I would consider it.

I have a bosh measuring device it shoots a red light to get the distance. I am a journeyman carpenter and this also has a level. I dont use levels hardly any more I use this. It also is useful of course for estimating and doing many jobs by yourself. I mentioned to the lumber yard to get rid of there levels and get these in to show the customers. I have used the device to get the exact angle and have cut drywall under a set of stairs perfectly. I would get the measuring device as it also includes the level. Just some thoughts.

I would love to be able to just stay down on the ground and listen for the audio tone while adjusting my cabinet levelers, a lot easier on my old knees and back.
@T100675 жыл бұрын
At my age I need reading glasses. Having the audio for plumb and level would be absolutely amazing, especially if I'm holding the level while adjusting my work, like when I was wall mounting my TV and making the fine adjustments on the wall mount to level the TV. It was a pain holding the level, adjusting the leveling screws, then coming back around to check level. All the more difficult even though I had every light on, the curtains open, and there still didn't seem to be enough light to see that bubble clearly. I can tell you I would this immediately (when you pick me as the winner 😉) since the TV still isn't level and it's irritating me. Then again, maybe I should make sure the sound bar I mounted is level 🤔.

The vale should be aside from where usually grab the level, Cant hear the beep sound when its noisy on the job site like an air compressor going in the background!, The booting time!, It might suit a small handy man business kind of thing , but still a little pricy for self employers or DIYers !
