just like a lot of other commenters, the year keeps getting reset to the current year. but for some reason changing the month does not. so by resetting the month i bought myself some extra time to print and buy new cartridges. hope this helps some people.

Try removing battery from mainboard first to clear the date memory. Insure it is unplugged. Power on without battery change date, then replace battery.

Hey there. I just tried your shown way of getting into this menu by starting it while pressing these two buttons. But once the printer has booted up, I still only see two options in the menu of function 1. What am I doing wrong? How do I get the printer to show the full menu in order to reset the date`i have the same problem that the printer doesn´t print, even though my cardridge is almost full, just expired. The printer doesn´t let me print at all like this and I have a lot of jobs to print urgently. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if that is possible. If it is, there is a guy in the facebook Mimaki group that can change parameters. Hayden Mimaki is one guy named another named Arjuno they are both my go-to for help in that aspect.

@@reprint217 Make sure your printer is On! before launching your Rasterlink software, Click on the file you want to print Go to Quality Print Scroll down an look for the print head unit select the one you want to use. Deselect the one you Do Not want to print with, Good Luck.

It's best and easiest to use a parameter file with the configuration file you are seeking. In the Mimaki groups on facebook, a guy named Hayden Mimaki is a very helpful guy who can help you.
