She was pretty happy! Long ago, when she was an indoor-outdoor cat having kittens and my neighbor wouldn't spay, she was in my garden hunting and resting all the time. When she came to me she was indoors for a few years, then I invited her to join me out there, on a leash, no roaming. Still, she loved that. Things change, the garden was invaded by deer and I let it go, trying each year to work it up again; still we never lost our love for being out there. This year it happened.

Probably the only reason I worked as hard as I had to, clearing out all that overgrowth and starting over, was because Mimi kept making me go outside. Now things have really taken off and I'll have my vegetables soon, thanks to Mimi.
