Nurse Pilbow was an enigma. A nice and pleasant young lady, but with no personality and easily startled. Yet a beautiful, likable Armenian American actress with almost no other credits plays her. Fascinating!

In some respect, she is the most mysterious character in the movie. You know she must have a strong feeling about her environment and her role within it, but she does not betray it. During the group sessions when McMurphy is making sarcastic and suggestive remarks, it is tempting to believe it is affecting her, by the look in her eyes. Because of her youth, we know she isn't a zombie, and there must be something going on in her brain, but we never discover it.

We studied OFOTCN in school when I was about 13 or 14 and she just seemed like a regular but kind of shy nurse. I didn't realise how cute she was until now. She had a real innocence that juxtaposed Ratched's evil nature. Mimi seems like a lovely lady and it's a shame she hasn't been in more productions. I hope she is happy and well. :)

My close friend Will Sampson (who played Chief) was also a first time actor and couldn't say enough about how nice and supportive everyone was. He also told me stories about how Jack Nicholson would crack everyone up between scenes...which seemed to help the actors deal with all the heavy emotional parts of the film.

After watching the movie many times, I am watching it right now once again and paused the movie out of curiosity to see who this beautiful women is. I'm glad she's happy and well, she's part of a masterpiece that I'll show to my kids when I'm older ❤ It's just kinda sad she didn't go a path of taking part in more movies, but I guess she did what she understood what's best for her and her family. And after all, fame is a coin with two sides, sometimes one of the sides of the coin is just something that someone is not willing to face, so I respect that, everything has a cost (specially fame). It's unlikely she'll ever read this, but congratulations for the great performance in one of my favourite movies ever ❤

Mimi Sarkisian was just wonderful in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. She didn't have a lot of lines to speak but her facial expressions and her bodily positions spoke volumes. Especially wonderful was following her eyes as her eyes followed the things that were going on. The scene where she walks into the nurse's station and McMurphy has managed to get himself in there and Nurse Pilbow screams. So many emotions going on at the same time. The scene was hilarious in a frightening way, or frightening in a hilarious way. One of those. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Nurse Pilbow, even when she had little or nothing to say, watching her actions was spell-binding.

He was smart enough to know that would have been a life sentence for him. He did make a suggestive flirtation when he make the remark about being slipped salt-peter in his pills, then he thumped the wall in front of her. I think her character was affected by McMurphy's sexuality.

Pilbow is an amazing example of saying so much without saying much of anything. Even just looking at pictures of her I can instantly see a young, wide-eyed naive Catholic girl who's shy and easily startled and is trying to prove herself as a nurse. She looks up to Fletcher (quite literally given her short stature) and is so brainwashed by the medical field that she's doing the right thing she never questions the evilness. Because of her obvious fragility, I would have loved to have seen what happened to her after she faints at the end. Is the suicide and the blood too traumatizing for her? Or does she stay on?

Missing mister tickle after so many years. Found out he was primarily a musician. But in various movies, he was funny... Poor guy in this movie. He was so nice... Also searching a older American native from previously, who also was funny and nice in some movies. Just don't have his name to search on. He occured in some western movies... But this one here is still the best and only after almost 50 years. Dear film makers, shame on you not to bring something up to this quality ever since.
