On the pattern cover, it looks like you did some decorative stitching on the short denim skirt. Is there an outline that you used for that?

It’s just topstitching, I just used a contrast color.

Try going to her sewing academy or get a beginner sewer’s book. These are the pieces of the patterns. When you buy a pattern, read the instructions and cut out the pieces indicated for the item you want to sew. Try sewing along with a very basic pattern.
