Given them another way to what exactly? I thought the whole point of the flaw was to be used specifically to bring on ragnarok, was mimir hoping they could use it to just go after Odin? Or is the point of the clip that they don't know how to use the flaw to breach the wall and take out Odin before he tries to escape surtur?

so that they can kill odin without involving ragnarok

The unfortunate truth is the devs for this game wasn’t able to utilize this set up from the previous game. Unfortunately one of many lost opportunities

Mimir doesn't want war, he just wants to stop Odin. He had hoped for a way to get into Asgard without involving Surtr, who is fated to destroy all of Asgard. Mimir's ideal scenario would have been to use the flaw to create a small opening through which the group could infiltrate Asgard proper, and capture or assassinate Odin without starting Ragnarok.

@@PaddyRoon7 but in the end, Sindri was the one to open the flaw, so why'd that suddenly come up only after we decided to bring on ragnarok? Sounds like a bit of plot contrivance to me

@@samcochran8203 well because Sindri’s way to get in using the flaw wasn’t exactly subtle and stealthy was it… So to use that they will need an army to fight an army, might as well involve Surtr since Odin basically destroyed most other realms armies slowly so it’s hard to raise one
