Dude, understand the context first before you comment. They're not trying to stop her because they think she's exposing herself and being an idiot. They're trying to stop her because some particular issues are very legally binding, and it could harm her if she tell the public. Similar context to an NDA. But really, if you're in an unfair contract that makes people could harm you anytime anyhow, obviously, you couldn't stay silent even when you signed NDA. Especially when people accused you of something you didn't do.

pls read: As a Korean who watch and understood the whole conference, min hee jin definitely showed her sincereness toward her group and how much she actually care about newjeans. For the foreigners who might not fully understood the conference, heres the abridgment. 1. When min hee jin first got out from SM, bang scouted her as a director of hybe’s first girl group, saying that he is not so confident with the girl group field. 2. After getting in to hybe min hee jin scouted current newjeans members by persuading that they are going to be the first girl group from hybe. 3. However, before newjeans’s debut, bang si hyuk suddenly ‘informed’ that hybe is going to postpone the debut of newjeans, since they are going to release le sserafim, directed by bang si hyuk. Min and the newjeans members’s parents were frustrated and got angry with the company’s reversal, because the title that hybe is going to release their first girl group meant a lot - public was paying much attention. Nevertheless, hybe enforced the debut of le sserafim and even privately noted min should not make any public relations of newjeans, because it might disperse all the attention from le sserafim. (And thats why newjeans suddenly came out from nowhere) 4. Min felt sorry for the newjeans members and tried to advance the debut, moreover she didn’t liked how bang interfered everything she does and that is the reasons why she created affiliated label ‘ador’ 5. After all those incidents newjeans finally debuted, and got FIRE. Here, bang probably got envy of her artistic appreciation: he started to interrupt everything newjeans do. You can think about why newjeans never showed themselves on public airwaves, and why hybe never posts single newjeans’ shorts, promotions or pictures on their official youtube channel. Bang even wised up on Min by messages about the whole situation.(she showed obvious, physical evidences with everything she said.) 6. Recently, bang released the second girl group that he directed, illit. The general opinion with the group in korea was that their styles, songs, dances, and even the concept picture is to similar to those of newjeans. Min felt the same, and she appealed that mocking within the subsidiary companies won’t make anything better, it will only consume the uniqueness and industrializing girl groups will degrade the quality of the music market in korea. (Maybe this is the main point where Bang got pissed.) 7. Recently, le sserafim shitted, showed their poor performance in Coachella, k pop fans in Korea was very disappointed with it. And two days after le sserafims’s last performance, which was one day before newjeans’ official comeback, bang suddenly publicized his CONVICTION that Min tried overtake newjeans from hybe, without providing any actually valid evidence. The conversation in private messenger between min and ador’s vice president that bang asserts which motivated his conviction found out to be more like a wall in back (joke-like conversation) about bang who’s not supporting newjeans at all. In korea, Hybe is already famous for maliciously instigating public opinion by hiring so called 댓글부대, that posts or leaves intentional comments everywhere. Even after reading all this, foreigners still might not understand why we all believe what min hee jin said. Its embaracing but if you ever experienced office life in Korea, you might agree that all these stories are quite far from her own fantasy, these things actually do happen in Korea. She also showed dozens of proofs that everything she said is true. Furthermore, not only the newjeans members but even their parents are with min’s side. From min’s instagram and newjeans’s official youtube channel, you can see how much min cares about members. 99 percent of the Public opinion in Korea already leaned toward min, we are not being emotional, if you can ever understand Korean language, understand gloomy korean society, you will also understand why we support min. She proceeded the conference with single bottle of water. Not having any script, she answered thousands of question without hesitation. She was not just sobbing or cursing out there for the whole time. Its true she had been a bit emotional, but everybody who watched the conference, even the reporters there changed their minds after that. Yeah she used BTS and HYBE to heighten New Jeans profile, without them New Jeans wouldn't have attracted much global attention, just another copy of Westerns 90's era. She might have gained sympathy from Korean for her tear fest but not international support, and she has become the butt of a lot of meme's, she wrnt out for sympathy, and missed the mark in my professional opinion. It's obvious that their both wrong, but one is more wrong than the other. You should read the reports about her winning her case. The courts only recognized one actual crime that the courts could actually say "yeah she did it" but because she didn't act on it she was found not guilty. That literally means EVERYTHING bang pd was accusing her of was actually false. The courts only recognized ONE of those allegations, then the courts ruled in her favor not only to keep her as the CEO of ador but she won THE ENTIRE case. She literally was able to prove to the court that everything she was accusing bang pd of, was true and which is now why BigHit and Bang Pd are now under investigation by the south Korean government for possible chart rigging. So yes they both don't care about their idols, but at least min hee jin was proven innocent in the court of law. Bang PD was not and is now answering for it.

Yeah, the way I see it is MHJ is basically a department head that while good at her job, forgot she doesn't actually own Ador. That's unless their were ulterior motives to begin with, but only time will tell. At face value without making assumptions swayed by emotions, it's an office dispute that she should've put behind her, but she clung onto it instead. I get being frustrated, but for all we know it's her fault for insisting NewJeans move from Source to Ador, I think maybe she caused her own problem.

You’re both wrong. New Jeans is New Jeans because of Min Heejin. Being at a big company doesn’t make them who they are. Just look at other Hybe groups. Or other Big Three groups. They have the money, but they don’t have the popularity or the viral aspect that New Jeans have. They were very different from everything, because Min HeeJin had that creative vision. Of course they need money to support that vision, but money is easy to come by, anyone can sponsor them and Min HeeJin is crazy rich; creative vision, not so much, you won’t find someone else that will do what she does.

She don't said this I don't like mhj but this is auto translation . Koreans often use the word '예쁘다' which literally translates to 'pretty' to mean a lot of things. When it's not being used in the context of its literal meaning (pretty/ beautiful), it generally means something along the lines of ' adorable, lovely, nice, sweet.' But it's heavily context dependent.. There is so many cultural nuances in her press conference that international fans can't understand that is why she has many support on Korean side and nobody saw her mentioning minji as negative or bad thing .

I am not falling for “Hybe’s media play” …the first time I watched the PC I also fell sorry for her but something felt off. So I watched it again and again and again and kept going back to what MHJ says and contradicts since the start. I also corroborated with facts given by the Investment Banking Industry. She has contradicted many things she said and also in the PC she never really answers the questions asked by the journalists. She misdirects, and minimises many of the important points. Man, I'm so outdated... like, what's this beef going on? I thought Bang PD stepped down as CEO for HYBE because he chose to be a CEO and a producer in BigHit. Also, I don't see what's similar between Illit and NewJeans. Is it because of the y2k concept? A lot of groups are/have been using y2k since. Like, if that's an issue, then the 3rd gen groups would've been in great war because they were all goth concepts at the start of their careers. I don't know anymore. I wish well for the companies. Just don't drag BTS into this mess; and NewJeans. The beef must stay between the company CEOs and leave their artists alone. They should've talked about this problem like civil people and talk about it in a meeting room privately. But tbh, I think something's wrong in MHJ's head.

not only the song, A LOT of people when they saw Illit’s promoting pictures or their concept photos saying it was similar to newjeans (i literally scrolled through comments and 80-95% was bout newjeans). Also there are choreography steps that are very similar, basically the same steps and movements like in other nj songs, that also create many of topics. No shame to the girls, but their company definitely did this on purpose to create more hype about their debut. Now, when illit debuted, has their on fanbase, and alot of people hates MHJ, they deny any similarities 🫡

I think, this was a prepared plan to gain the masses support by just pouring out her emotions and simply not denying all of the allegations but she's diverting all by saying non-trivial matters. I love NewJeans; I love their music and stuff but i'm worrying that since they're under MHJ, the things that they work for would go into waste. That woman is dangerous to be honest, knowing that she has a disturbing history. I love HYBE too but I could not say that they're saint on this issue. can you do a video explaining to i-netz why knetz are on her side? but that aside I get mhj’s frustration. she was told she would create hybe’s first girl group only to be stabbed in the back when they debuted le sserafim. and even when new jeans became more popular, hybe refused to promote them and instead created a copycat of new jeans called illit, so they can benefit from and use mhj’s formula/concepts for new jeans while still refusing to promote new jeans. it’s clear she saw what they were doing and I don’t doubt that once they made illit the new ‘new jeans’ in the company they would continue to disregard new jeans’ promotion until they withered away in the background. so mhj had to do something about it. she should’ve lawyered up before going to the court of public opinion though, because hybe has a lot of power and has launched a public smearing campaign against her and international stans will believe anything hybe says because they don’t have the same access to information the way knetz do.
