Let me list hall of fame coaches who stopped coaching at some point in life. Bill Parcells, Bill Walsh, Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Hank Stram, Jimmy Johnson, Don Shula, Marv Levy, etc... So, while you media types run wild with Bill Belichick being passed over in this latest coaching cycle, make sure you recognize how time works. There is a beginning for everything and there is an end. Life goes on. Maybe Belichick will be the savior for a franchise that fires their head coach in-season. Short of that, Bill Belichick is subject to the same conditions of life as the rest of us. It is what it is.
