I'm a lifelong Steeler fan, born and raised in Pittsburgh. I quit watching them after Big Ben's second sexual assault allegation. No one was more selfish and coddled than Ben. Does he not remember him riding a motorcycle without a helmet, causing him to miss many games. Or both times he was accused of SA that hurt and put pressure on the team. I'm glad I can finally watch football again without having him on the team.

Nan Ryan had an unbelievable workout that kept his arm strength at a premium. Along with his lower body as well. He threw 108+ in his prime. Along with a curveball that was the perfect compliment to that heater. If he played for better teams i believe he would have won 400 games. His walks was a testament to instilling fear in any batter he faced due to his wildness

Seeing how Chappelle has used his greatness really makes me appreciate Carlin more and more. Carlin was out here trying to use his comedy to push tolerance. He was regularly openly feminist ("if there is a god, he has to be a man, because no woman would f*ck things up like this"), anti-selfishness (see, e.g., his bit on homelessness), and he even tried to help normalize homosexuality back in like the '60's when it was still illegal in much of the country. Chappelle is using his greatness to gatekeep and put down an already marginalized group. And that's not to say that his point about how we still haven't done right by Black people is wrong; it's that Black advocacy doesn't have to come at the expense of trans people or anyone else (except the powerful white people who are opposing it).
