Sad thing is that due to the solarian spell that made her a solarian warrior she’s literally unable to NOT hate monsters. It’s part of the spell. And I believe loyalty is built in too. Solaria has a lot of nerve turning her head away at Mina considering she’s her creation and her fault.

Eclipsa's spade is related to the tarot suit of cards, which represents thought, clarity but also tragedy. The suit of swords are some of the saddest and most terrible cards to get-and Eclipsa experienced so much tragedy in her life. Solaria saw her cause as righteous, I don't think she cared about any of the warriors she empowered, only that they fight back against the monsters that she hated. I think that above all else is what drove Eclipsa to rebel against her mother in the first place.

Mina is a funny yet tragic character when you think about it. Mina was magical mutated into a fighting machine and her mind was robbed of some of her facilities and her ability to rationalize and reason. The Queens and the Magic High Comission saw her as nothing more then a attack dog and enforcer. No one ever tried to help or fix her mind. Really missed opportunity to explore her character.

I don't think Solaria corrupted her. There was something that was clrearly wrong in her nogin from the begining. Solaria didn't see that, she only saw a really loyal soldier, and thats all she needed at the time. Petty only her essence saw the final outcome. To put it bluntly. Mina was a chimp, Solaria just gave her the machinegun.
