Tip for anyone who is confused about shop satisfaction: different age groups have different tastes, so to maximize satisfaction and profit, you need to build multiple shops of each type, and set each one to prices/recipes/selections that appeal to a single demographic. So you want one ramen shop geared to old people, a second one geared to young people, etc.

Too much noodles in the ramen is like having too much dough in the pizza. You get a wider/larger/thicker pizza dough, but not enough content.

Tayaki is a fish shaped pastry/pancake/waffle usually filled with red bean paste, though a seller downtown also offers custard as well.

The Japanese love to loan English words (in a script called katakana) and then abbreviating them. So "kombini" is in fact short for "convenience store".

@@esaschenbrecker A particularly cute one is パトカー, "patokaa", which is short for "patrol car".

Is it a "build a game in a weekend" kind of deal? Otherwise, for a full game this has such a tiny amount of content and shallow gameplay.. If you add the inoffensive/bland characters to the mix, rather than "wholesome", the word "hipster" comes to mind
