Minarelli Motorized Bike, The Ultimate FUN Ride

In this video we finally get to take out the Minarelli on its first ride. So be it short but it was fun. This ride leads me to loving this tiny motor just that much more. Reliability great power band is what minerelli conversion gives you. Upgrading the clutch is a must. Building my own saf version. Using remaining brain cells in the noggin to make that happen. Bike sound real good.

Thanks brother, I haven’t needed a better clutch yet to be honest but it doesn’t have a proper pipe yet so once it does maybe I’ll need more. I’ll see but either way I probably won’t build an saf clutch style clutch. I have actually been thinking about a different style clutch idea in my head and don’t know if it would work yet but maybe in time I’ll see but I think a twin disk clutch would be really cool…..if needed.

Yes exactly, this one is not gutted but it is much less restrictive then a fully stock one. But I love the deeper pop these stock pipes have once you take out some of the insides.

@@JMB676 Ohh, I got some long lives in, but usually have to remove later on due to copyright slap. Rebuilding a junker named Pig-Pen, Chicken is almost done.

@@leonardarola well I’m goin go check it out later at night when I’m chillin to see it all. I’m assuming the goal for channel is to monetize eventually so definitely make each video copyright friendly now so that when it’s time to monetize you can literally just go through your video lists and hit the lil $ sign to activate it. Then you don’t got to redo any vids or won’t be able to use them because of music or something stupid. Really only thing I noticed that will strike it is copyright music, so only use generic stuff or buy the rights through that company which is escaping my memory atm. Either way I’ll def be checking it out cause I know you are putting crazy custom work into the build and that’s the stuff I enjoy, seeing how others build things and how they tackle problems or potential problems with just basic ideas and tools they have. Well at least that’s what I enjoy the most you know.

Sounds awesome Johnny I think it would do better with a mz65 expansion chamber pipe and a cnc high performance compression head that's what mine came with and a vm21 carburetor and she rips ride safe brother

Everything you said is stage2 and already in my house just need to make it all fit. This setup was never the final setup only a place holder till all the parts came in. When I built this or decided to build it it was super last second because the original motor I built this off of was torched and it wasn’t supposed to be and I decided to make it a Minarelli last second to save the project for 2k subs and didn’t have anything ordered for the build. So all this stuff is coming off and new and better stuff is goin on in a video coming out soon.

MZ-65 pipe will awaken the beast mode but stock pipe is fine for sleeper mode.

Yes for sure, I personally love the way the gutted stock pipe sounds on any motor or even those banana pipes, they are by far my favorite sounding pipes for a daily. The real pipes sound great but to ride them every day all day get very tiresome after a couple months. But for this build a real pipe is a must. So I’m building a belly pipe for it.

Yeah as it is it’s pretty strong in this form. I won’t say it’s stronger then Tweakers motor right now. The yd100 I have on there pulls just as hard and revs higher and has similar exhaust. However I don’t think it would be the same with a pipe, I think this motor will crap on it once I fit the pipe and reed to it cause the yd is about the best I can be and the Minarelli is only at the start. I can’t wait to get the rest all done to it.

Yeah it’s all being redone cause I was originally going to to keep this motor on here for a while cause the new stock Minarelli reed wasn’t supposed to be in for a month or two from day of this video according to tracking but it showed up day before this video was made. So I decided not to tune anymore since I was taking it right off to make it exactly how I wanted it with the right carb and reed and pipe.

I’m goin to put a real mz65 I bought for it but I’m goin to cut it up and try to build a belly pipe. I think they look the coolest but I never built one and I’m not a good welder so we shall see how this turns out.

I can't decide what engine kit to buy next...I'm kinda leaning towards a 53cc 4 stroke for long 16 mile 30mph non stop rides. For better mpgs & hopefully more reliable.....But then seen the 100cc (only 3hp?) 4 stroke kits. Not sure if it's a de tuned 100cc or 79cc USA/100cc China cyl displacement measurements. Off Subject: I really wish I could build a diy fiberglass aerodynamic electric velomobile. To use in rain & cold weather. I'd have to use electric to be 100% street legal & considered an electric trike- recumbent trike. If you could put a 125cc semi automatic in a velomobile. You could easily cruise at 55-65mph on the hyw & get 100+mpgs. The Honda 125cc cub/trail bikes get 100+ mpgs & can do 55mph. The 30% more aerodynamic velomobile would improve top speed & mpgs. Sucks the carbon fiber brand name velomobiles are so expensive.

Was use the white flexible sheets foam & a lightweight coat of fiberglass over it for the body.. I'm looking for an alternative legal loophole cheap vehicle/transportation. . So I can give a big FU 🖕 to the government, oil 🛢 companies/gas prices & the automobile industry. I really liked the idea of the Elio 80mpg 3 wheel car but thought it looked boring & too Plain Jane in the looks dept.

@ Johnnie so I checked the inside of my gas tank and there is RUST SPOTS THAT R PRETTY THINK AND SPOTTED ALL AROUND TANK, after you put you know the the 100 CC iron sleeve on my bike and I got it home you know you had it tuned where you know it wasn't like my first 85 CC China Doll where you had it maxed out and you know I was doing 45 miles an hour just so you know and everybody else knows I grew up my whole life riding Two Strokes so I know all about Never Keeping a two-stroke wide open so when I say top speed Johnny I'm not shooting at you I got nothing but respect for you and just thankfulness for the s*** that you help me with but yeah the way you set the new motor up you know you said you had a kind of like mild so it would last longevity which I want and I appreciate it you know it came out good came out great but I still haven't took the whole motor apart I just took the top end off and you know the whole piston is completely chewed up and chopped up you know Johnny it's a freaking disaster disaster if it's nice out tomorrow I'm going to take the whole top of the motor apart and I'll send you pictures do you think rust building up in the inside of the tank would a 100% be capable of blowing my whole motor up motor up a brand new motor because I don't know Johnny I was just out there the other night and it was dark out and I have a really really you know powerful flashlight and I opened up the top of the you know the gas cap and I looked in it and I seen this reddish like purple s*** at the bottom then I looked over to like the left of the tank towards the front of the bike and I seen a spot over there and then right where the drain is where you know it goes down into the fuel filter that was all rusted so you think that's the culprit that's what most likely is what ruined my brand new motor and again I apologize for any you know hard feelings or you know b******* that we went through just said I got nothing but love and respect for you how's it going through a lot of s*** not even and it's crazy not even half as much as what I'm going to right now but you and me know what I'm talking about when I say what I was trying to you know what I was going through but let me know I'm going to send you pictures if that's okay thank you Johnny I appreciate your help more appreciate your help more than you know

There’s a fuel filter in the bike when I finish it and delivered other so any lil bit of rust would just clog up that and stop the flow. So I highly doubt anything from the gas is ruining anything. Only thing that can chew up the top end is a cert clip breaking but I cut the ends so that’s extremely unlikely. Only other actual possible thing with out seeing the motor (which I have no interest in seeing to be honest) is that the upper or lower connecting rod bearing is coming apart and the motor are it. That is most likely the possibility just cause it’s not an uncommon thing especially depending on use and mileage and care. Well another very real possibility is if there’s no air filter cause a rock can easily kit up and go through the carb and right into motor under acceleration. And then the least likely option but still somewhat possible is that a piece of the cylinder skirt or piece of the iron sleeve broke off and the motor are that. Only way to know is to look over everything very piece of the motor and to trace out the damage and to see what’s broken or missing and if nothing missing but highly unlikely if there’s big damage then only other option is that a rock got in and broke it up. Depending on damage at that point it might be fine as is and might could just send it. If it’s gouging then it’s ruined.

@JMB676 bro SMH 🤦‍♂️ I had the fender off for few days and the carb was not idling with the filter in it, same thing happens with my power washer , but as far as the brand new engine it looked real bad bro, I only took off the head and it was completely filled with dents and bs. Then top of piston is a shit show. But its not seized so that's good, I have to take it all apart and see. Unreal not even 30 miles on motor. And the fuel filter I know but there so much rust spots I was thinking the orange red shit coming off the rust passing thru mixed with the mixture and through ratio off or some shit. But no ur prob exactly right

Yeah it’s definitely a lot nicer, just having a kitchen to cook or wash dishes is a huge plus but she isn’t in much just cause she’s not involved in anything really anymore and only slowly starting to get into riding again. She was in my recent short I posted. But I always tell her you say hi.

It’s a somewhat gutted stock chinadoll pipe I made for it just to get it running, I should a picture or it in the beginning few minutes of video. It was only temporary just to try it out till spring and summer came around . I have a realmz65 I’m cutting up into a belly pipe I want to build for it. That’s the end goal. It’s warm not and the motor is finished sitting on my shelf waiting to go back on the bike but I been so busy since I advertised that I’ll build motor two videos ago I haven’t had time to get back to putting it back on purple nightmare. I will soon tho cause I really want to finish it. I have so many other fun builds I want to do but my crazy doesn’t let me do multiple projects for myself at once cause it makes me feel overwhelmed and then I just won’t finish. So I know I need to finish before starting another.

Yeah hundred percent, that’s why I even said it in the video cause they get there easy but rim brakes just ain’t no good at stopping this much weight fast. I’ll upgrade it eventually but it’s not my bike and heathers really light so it stops fast for her.
