Well it would have lighten his load because he was facing obito. Who knows ,obito might have had a backup plan. He could enter the village at anytime so I think minato would have survived but still kushina would have died.

Had Fugaku been allowed to put Kurama in Genjutsu, Minato would still be alive. Let me explain: Fugaku could've handled Kurama while Minato deal with Obito to Protect the village and his family. If that happens we'll get a world similar to Tsunade's Infinite Tsukuyomi dream where Naruto & Sasuke have both parents in the picture. Everything that happened in Episode 432-450 will occur.

danzo's actions with the uchiha really goes to show that the hokage isn't the ultimate power but holds the largest small fraction of power amongst many individuals that make up a bureaucracy in the village. the hokage and konoha's government are exactly identical to a leader of any free world country, it is controlled by a bureaucracy full of people who have their own agendas, desires for power, special interests backing them, and ideologies that inevitably conflict with each other and while the leader has the largest amount of power, it's still only a small sliver of power.

Had Fugaku placed Kurama under genjutsu the Uchiha Massacre would've been prevented. Minato and Hiruzen would've been successful on negotiating a better policy when it came to the Uchihas in the village resulting in Itachi never defecting from the village. Sasuke wouldn't left the village. The story will continue almost the same.

Those who watched the anime should know about this already. They showed a lot of the side stories during that moment of hiatus in the anime showing when everyone was trapped in the tsukuyomi and only Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi were conscious hiding under a huge rock barrier. That’s why I get so mad at people on social media who wanna speak terribly on Itachi still when they showed all of his story and reason for doing everything he did in the anime “filler”.

the shippuden anime showed a bit, but there was a lot cut out and changed in the 5 or 6 episode adaptation of the two itachi stories. I do agree though, when you break down everything that happened, there's enough there to get the reasoning to understand why he did what he did and the circumstances leading up to the massacre. they just like being willfully ignorant

Fun Fact: The reason that the 3rd coffin was Minato, (During the fight against Hiruzen vs Orochimaru) because it was before Kishimoto thought of Minato, the fourth hokage, being Naruto's dad until Kishimoto's own dad died. It's possible that he haven't thought of Minato's death during that time.

Video essay on how TBV sets up Narutos last moments being hokage. When Naruto was young he had the dream of being recognized as hokage one day. He proved himself the way. But like in real life once he got there he realized the job is nothing but paper work. Plus he had to live with the fact that he wasnt always there. In light of current events Naruto maybe thought about if he was more around Kawaki would have found another solution. Maybe he could have prevented it all..and the best way to show his choice is to give up on his dream and focud on his family at home. The ones he hasnt seen for 4 years. I predict this to happen.

It’s best Naruto officially retires as Hokage once he and Hinata are unsealed so he can be with his family to make up for lost time. With everything happening with Boruto and Himawari the amount of guilt on his face will be too much to bear. He’ll also feel responsible about Kawaki thinking he could have guided him towards a different solution. To some degree Naruto is responsible for whatever Kawaki is gonna do and that will have a huge impact on his legacy as Hokage☹️. I can see Naruto being an advisor like Kakashi or on the Konoha council. He’ll still be an active ninja but have flexible hours. After everything the uzumaki family has been through, they need a break they deserve to be happy

At the time we didnt know it but think of how hard this had to be for the Uchiha. They loved their home the village with everything they had, and could've easily stopped this, BUT they were told not to act and to stand down. THEN you notice you are being framed, yet you still can not act because if you do, then you will be seen as a traitor. Even though he had done nothing wrong. I honestly thibk if Minatos tenure had continued his successor would've been Fugaku, i say this because minato would've seen everything that happened between naruto and sasuke and learned to give the Uchiha a chance just like his son did. who would've then selected Kakashi and then Naruto

correct. he broke down obito's jutsu after only seeing it used a couple times, came up with a counter, and landed two hits on the guy, all while worrying about his dying wife and his village that was under attack...if he had solely been focused on obito, he'd have hit and killed him after seeing his jutsu used one time

nah. He scales to Anbu MS Itachi. Itachi says it in the anime adaptation, he wasn't sure he could beat fugaku one on one and Fugaku refused to enter into a death match with itachi, implying he could have killed that version of itachi in a fight, which lines up with shishui, who was stronger than pre ms itachi saying he didn't want to fight fugaku head up. Danzo called shisui the strongest in the clan but shisui didnt wanna fight fugaku because he couldnt win

it really goes to show that the hokage only holds a fraction of konoha's power just like the leader of any free world country and konoha's power is actually split amongst a bureaucracy just like any other free world country and while hiruzen and minato had the most power individually, it was danzo who actually held the most power overall since he had not only konoha's bureaucracy but military in his back pocket which pretty much gave him the authority to do whatever the fuck he wants internally
