Does anyone know what kind of paint to use for the clipboard, can can one paint do both the wood and the metal clip? Is it acrylic paint? Would really love to know? Cheers!

I can't seem to get even foiled results. Black marks on everything. Any advice would be appreciated. I tried Using with and without Minc products but still get black marks. Also tried different heat settings - still not good.
