@@kalosevillinas I'm sorry for your loss. I'm going through high anxiety cause my pet bird is sick and possibly has cancer and he's been like a best friend to me as well. Also dealing with physical pain caused most likely by my somatization disorder is making things super hard for me. I wish you well moving forward.

Great talk and Bobby looks (like many of us ) someone who’ve learned to suppress his vulnerability and be in control of everything all the time. Common belief we have is : I need to be strong and hold it together for others. Grief is unacceptable if you believe you can’t show your weakness aka feelings Many blessings ❤

For me a ‘success story’ isn’t a line crossed but in just continuing to try and learn incl maybe facing painful shadows. Sml victories. : ) Im glad he checked w/MDs at times to rule out any serious issue/ immed threat to his health. TMS isn’t either or. Sadly not an (easy) option for too many. Peace and health in 2025.

I think grief is what flipped my switch. My brain became so scared after loosing such important people to be in a very very short period of time. It’s been such a hard journey.

Sorry to hear of your losses. Many tms workers will say that grief can be one of the main causes for most people. Grief is hard but it is best to process it otherwise you may deal with what I have been through.

I've had somatization disorder for 15 years now being diagnosed 11 years ago. I've had multiple symptoms over the 15 years from numbing in my extremities for a year, abdominal pain, dizzyness, urological pain, nausea for months and my current one being pain on the left side of my tongue for a month now. The pain can be severe. I've had to retire early from my job and now I'm on disability. Through the years I've have had about 8 ctscans, 7 mri's, multiple xrays and ultrasounds. The one real issue I had was thyroid cancer which I didn't have symptoms for. I had to go in for a biopsy of my prostate a few months back which came back negative but now I might have to redo it. I'm going to assume that all the radiation from the ct scans might have caused the cancer 4 years ago and what might be going on now. I tried everything form seeing a psychiatrist, therapist, group meetings, CBT, hypnosis, acupuncture and 2 separate sessions of multiple TMS treatments and I'm still suffering badly. I really don't think there is a resolution in my case. I just pray.

Sorry to hear about what you have been dealing with. I also had many CT scans and xrays due to my collapsed lung but so far doing okay with regards to any complications. There are many TMS practitioners out there so it might also just be finding the right one for you. Also doing many treatments is a part of the issue as well because it keeps our brain on high alert. During my time with my IBS flare I was looking up so many different videos and treatment and it was overwhelming. What helps a lot of people is learning to let go of trying to solve the issue. From what I told Jim, grief was one part but learning to accept my symptoms also helped a lot as well. What we resist persists but we accept will rest. Hope that helps.

@@bg4923 I've tried over and over to accept with no help. Right now the symptom is severe tongue pain so it's a struggle not knowing if it's real or not.

@@lj6819 Have you seen a doctor for the tongue pain? Also important to r/o any medical/structural causes before doing this type of work.

@@bg4923 I was told to see a dentist by my primary physician and the doctor didn't see anything suspicious and said we would reevaluate if things did not improve.

@@lj6819okay that’s good at least. If the symptoms are inconsistent or move around then it’s more likely to Be neuroplastic pain

Liked the interview but bro...chill wit the DR stuff man. All i heard was doctor this doctor that.... to me thats like a anxiety/ocd in itself. Many people i know dont have insurance . And we know over 90% of all doctor visits are stresss related. Work on your stress , get your body back to homepstasis...give it ti me and smile.

The doctor thing is what a lot of people deal with. To go to professionals to rule out structural issues… it’s part of the process. But that’s part of his story and I’m happy that he brought grief.
