Well said my friend. This is among the best comedies of all times. The beauty of Humans is that we seem to seek knowledge until that knowledge becomes boring or harmful to Human consumption....😂. Thanks my friends for those great comments ***__One more thing before I go. This message is to Verizon Wireless customers and any other Wireless company across the Globe. #Yourphoneyourlife. Please take good care of your cellphones at home or while travelling because Asurion is really tired of some baseless claims. _My dear Humans, why do we hurt each other, eh? Why are others suffering while others are too rich? Why do many of us work hard and get taxed so hard while others, who are fit and capable just sit and collect Well-fare checks and that is not even enough, and our people are suffering. 😢. _This comedy 😂 does lift up my spirit and I hope I die before the Hell turns loose.

The serial did have a great comic value but casting could be far better and appropriate as also direction and acting especially in so far as certain characters are concerned.Barry evans suited perfectly and so did the actors who played Giovanni ,Juan,Taro and Su Lee.But Ali and especially Ranjit were total misfits.More importantly Albert Moses looked not an iota like a Sikh and also acted a south India accent which a Sikh would never do.
@ranob1949 Жыл бұрын
Obviously the director or casting director did hardly have a good knowledge of Indian communities and their accents

One of the best shows I used to watch in my childhood during the 90s. The life of Barry Evans (Jeremy Brown) was kinda tragic. His mother abandoned him when he was 2. He had to resort to being a taxi driver to make ends meet. His car was stolen a day before his death in his early 50s. His death was most likely due to suicide.

For those of you who wish to cry racism and xenophobia watch and learn. This is a show essentially about people being welcomed into our country and being helped to settle by improving their language skills. They are all treated with respect by the teaching staff and while the stereotypes maybe a little dated the jokes are by and large puns and plays on words. I mention this because I am sick and tired of spotty individuals assuming that these were dark times and everybody was nasty to everybody else. Simply not true. It wasn’t non existent, but it isn’t today either. We never threatened to deport anyone to Rwanda back then.
