Alhamdulillah, Sh. Hamza has finally given a response to all the negative persecution given him from some of the other, so-called Islamic leaders. He has done so without bashing any one of them by name. May Allah continue to Bless Sh. Hamza for his hiqma and advice to all of us. Ameen.

Ameen. O believers! Avoid many suspicions, ˹for˺ indeed, some suspicions are sinful. And do not spy, nor backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of their dead brother? You would despise that!1 And fear Allah. Surely Allah is ˹the˺ Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful.

Love this lecture! His lectures are so informative and make so much sense! I've always said that people should mind their own business and focus on themselves. These are basic manners that most cultured people have. Unfortunately, the masses don't. And that's why it's a daily problem that needs to be addressed. Do not spy, eavesdrop, stalk, hack mobile phones, create fake profiles, ask about other people, be intrusive, etc. Do not waste time on useless things that do not enlighten or teach you anything useful. There's a thin line between being intrusive/prying and empty curiosity. The latter is not healthy. Its mediocre. It's useless. It's pointless. It doesn't add value to your life. Behaving like a sheep will get you nowhere. It keeps a society static. And it's a way to keep people behaving like sheep. Break out of mediocrity and grow. Have purpose, enlightenment, ambition and knowledge. Concern yourself with yourself. You answer for yourself. Part of being a better you means being a better human being and elevating to higher standards of behaviour.

Humm I don't think this clip is complete, this can't be the whole concept. I think the shaikh is alluding to ppl that are incessantly watching others bc they are either envious or bc they have no real work to do. Its intention that differentiates good from bad. The Muslim is encouraged to be curious, but with good intention. This is not an easy concept to unpack in a 4 min clip. So I don't think this is all what the sheikh means by "Mind your own business". The prophets employed spies in battle, yet forbid spying on whats private to your neighbor. A public character ie: a politician must always be under watch, sudden wealth maybe a sign of corruption & the Muslim must be politically aware & vigilant about such matters. There is much detail missing in this clip & I encourage the uploader to consider removing this clip & uploading the whole discussion instead. As it is this clip will confuse ppl rather than illuminate them. rgds

It’s not very complex in my view. Before you ask any question or enquire about anything, ask yourself why you are asking the question. If it’s pointless knowledge, like the owner of a nice house, then mind your own business! It’s all based on intentions: If it’s polite questions; asking the health of your friend, then it’s fine, as you are building relations and are of course genuinely concerned for the well-being of your friend.

I'm not quiet get the point. What if I asked my brother of muslim "how are you?" is that wrong? What kind of business that should be the limit? This is also a kind of restriction for every muslim to spread the message of Islam. "Tell it even if it just an ayah" becoming not strong enough because if somehow a mualaf try telling his/her family about Islam. Absolutely he/she wasn't trained and lacking Islamic knowledge. I'm sorry. I'm just an ignorant trying to understand this.
@shimar810 жыл бұрын
thr is a rule for everything...Whenever we go to any scholor of ISLAM we should go with empty mind and heart ..Most people go to scholors by already having thr own opinions and who think themselves more knowledgeable.....The beauty of great scholors is they will easily make out from the way any person put his question.....who is a real true seeker and who is giving his own pre-defined opinion.
@devi3loz10 жыл бұрын
Finally I got the point. I end up with this conclusion. We the one who lack of knowledge and understanding shall tell nothing about what we not know. But if we could, lead 'em who asking to a person who understand more than our self. The scholar, teacher, master, or guru.
@shimar810 жыл бұрын
***** LOL keep ur understanding ur little or high knowledge eveything aside whenever u go to any scholor.....You should ask whats ur doubts but not started giving ur own opinions especially abt Quran and Hadees...be like an empty pot in front of scholors....
@devi3loz10 жыл бұрын
Well. Sadly I do have a problem with over thinking. Emptying the pot is another difficult. I aware of this and I understand having my own opinion related to hadits n Qur'an is bad. That's why sometimes I think I have to unplug from anything, and reboot if it possible then relearn. I once asked about this to a scholar, but the answer is normative. Is it unsolveable? I don't know. However this is my own problem, I have to solve it by my self.
@shimar810 жыл бұрын
***** if i don't get satisfactory answers i always go to other scholor till i get answers....we struggle very hard for this wordly things but we should not easily give up for deen..... The main problem occurs in understanding deen bcse people start reading directly Quran and Hadees-e-nabwi...Without even reading the life of Rasool Allah since his birth...and arab history....and Most people just take literal meaning of Quran without even understanding its wisdom when and why this Ayat revealed on whom. Most Non-Muslims misunderstood Islam bcse they never read the history of idol worshippers arabs before the Rasool Allah came in this world.... For example :- as per my experience i always met non-muslims who puts question mark on the rights of womans in property why it's only 25% compared to 50% male...Just they read literal meaning of Quran without its history of arabs. They failed to understand that during rasool Allah time idol worshippers of arabs never ever give even 1% to womans from thr properties and girls used to bury alive..This was thr practises,,,,,But our Rasool Allah stopped female infanticide and gave rights to woman even in properties .....This was the biggest task in those idol worshippers hate world.

i don't understand the point that this video is trying to make. Is it trying to say that I cannot ask someone about how someone else is doing? I ask people about others because I care about them. What is so wrong with asking someone who owns a certain house? its not like you are asking how they gained the money or going into any detail.
@mohammadsharif919210 жыл бұрын
He meant that you shouldn't interfere in that persons personal life, and do not interfere in his own beliefs if he didn't interfere in yours, but i don't think it's wrong when you ask somebody about how he/she is doing from the loving and helping side
@HelpMyDeen10 жыл бұрын
mohammad sharif oh okay, but the person that created the video should have actually provided some sources from the Qur'an to support his points rather than just a person giving thier own opinion in a talk. This video kind of annoyed me because I always ask people how they are doing. lol
@mohammadsharif919210 жыл бұрын
HelpMyDeen personal opinion, I belive that if you asked the people on how they are doing because you care about them than it's a good deed instead of a bad deed
@HelpMyDeen10 жыл бұрын
mohammad sharif I agree with you. But I still hold the opinion that this video is slightly misleading as it is teaching people that asking about others is wrong in all circumstances. But I do understand that there are certain topics that should not be pried on.
@BSKX1710 жыл бұрын
I think it's basically poking your head into things unrelated to you. For example, what use is it to you if you see a house and ask whose house it is? Unless you had a reason for wanting to know. This characteristic is present in most people, more in some than others. Even normal people notice it when someone is too occupied with matters that do not concern him.

If scolars speak in such a rude manner i don't think anyone wants to be like them, instead of telling him to go fix cars he could have said it in a kind manner like my dear brother it is wrong for you to quote things without context, and don't worry about who is kuffar and who is not it will lead you into fitnah, just worry about yourself. If he said to me go fix cars i would be really offended!!!
@محمدابراهيم-ذ2ظ6ك7 жыл бұрын
iera uk True, but the way he translated it into English may have made it sound impertinent but that's probably not how he said it. The meaning is sound nonetheless as a man should be concerned about his preoccupation. That's the purpose he was getting across with that example.
@AishaHussain-j5u6 жыл бұрын
The scholar must've gotten annoyed with the ignorance and constant baseless questions that were related to a verse taken out of context, with no understanding and willingness to understand. Your behaviour reflects the reaction you'll get. Scholars are human beings. If you don't want to learn from a certain scholar, then don't attend that scholars lectures.
