i don’t get why wire 7 is cut

on the paper, it shows hints for 2 possibilities: 1) A or B. 2) turn off with higher or lower than 5 buttons. 3) number of lightning symbols and the wire patterns. from 1) and 2), there are 2 numbers that overlap, 7 & 9. and 3) show no pattern for 4 lightning symbols. therefore wire 7 is the right answer as it has no pattern unlike wire 9.

Oh, so you want to cut the wire with the highest lightning symbol! In my mind the numbers by the lightning were corresponding to something I couldn’t figure out, not order of magnitude. Makes sense, thanks!

You can use the screwdriver to unscrew the keypad, after that thriugh trial and error by clicking numbers you’ll find the correct code
