A tonograph test of the Om chant doesn't produce a Shri Yantra shape, it produces a ellipsoid Shiva Linga shape. Which is more than enough explanation why the Shiva Linga is made the way it is

A shivlinga always has sri Yantra or the Mahamehru in it in a hidden form. So even if an ellipsoid shiva linga appears it will consist of mahameru
@wooshsloosh4228
@wooshsloosh4228 Жыл бұрын
@@vaibhavvats3597 I understand where you're coming from bro but MahaMeru and Shiva Linga are two very different concepts on their own. Yes Devi can be worshipped through the Shiva Linga but they're very different. Maybe sampradayas may have that but as far as i know there is no such thing

Hi Ranveer, your interjection at 13:34 asking if "tan" is the body and the following answer by your revered guest as, "Could be..." is actually the pull or the effort to extend. It is for this reason, tantra is depicted by the warp and woof of the loom. "Taan" is to pull or extend in Hindi. So what does this loom make? Fabric. In simpler words, it is the fabric of existence that miraculously creates and dissolves in pralay[a]. And all this is under the spell of Maya. "Ma" happens to be the root of the Sanskrit word to measure. And "ya" means this. The "Lila" of the Lord seems to be declaring to all, "Measure this!" This is the singularity from which all creation begins and from the ultimate divinity the extended forms multiply and experience the cycle of existence into the next.

Thank you Ranveer, enjoyed this episode, an different perspective on tantra, I do believe tantra makes one responsible towards oneself, if my intellect is apt to perform mental gymnastics, quietly surrendering to an deity or an higher force through devotion or tantra worship would be my anchor.

Let me say just one thing. It is not a generalised final goal to have moksha/mukti/liberation. It varies from person to person, everyone has a different goal, a different purpose. But ultimately all souls would reach their purpose and will have their own moksha
@johanvoellner1849

isnt the goal of all soals ultimately liberation? the thing is that not all of them will achieve it in this lifetime, or one lifetime. Everyone has a different personal purpose, but isnt the broader purpose of every being to fuse with the ultimate?

Each people think their path is the right reality is no right and wrong in spirituality. Tantra is actually the Fastest fierce way than bhakti, but people like him won't agree, because for him his way is right. That's the problem. Tantra is for fierce people who can do that with sadhana like Sri rajasri nandi, But for vaishnava sadhu kind of people their way is right which is not intense less consequences way. Everything won't suit everyone

Just like some people can't do tantra, they don't agree that tantra is the fastest, the same goes for people who can't do bhakti, won't agree that bhakti is the fastest. Neither is fastest, it depends completely on the person who's doing it

The Vedas are originally three only, ie Rig Yajur and Samaveda, these are divided by sage Veda Vyasa, these reflect Gadya, Padya and Sama(music) all ragas are originated from Samaveda. Sage Atharva carved separate branch as which is known as Atharva or atharvana veda.

Durga saptashati originated just during the birth of the universe so it's pre Vedic. DS is the highest of all tantra. So tantra originated just during creation. DS is the crux of the Vedas. So tantra is 1st and Vedas comes later.
