How would using a transdiagnostic approach to treat the emotional disorders mentioned be any different from using the other approaches?

The transdiagnostic approach is more focused on common processes related with psychological functioning. In this sense, therapists can focus their intervention more on these variables, rather than specific diagnostic process. Research shows equivalence between the two approaches for anxiety disorders.
