I always enjoy your videos. They are the bright spot on my Monday! I believe you loosen our chains that are binding our creativity, and you give us freedom. Thank you for that.

I really enjoyed this tutorial. Loved the lime green on the first one. It was shuttle yet very effective. I have a small booklet my Nephew made that I keep in my bedroom and in the last week I’ve had two restless nights, so I doodled in them. The last one I finished at 3:38 inch morning. Our weather here in Wisconsin, USA is in the 90 degrees, so we are prisoners of the Air Conditioning.

I love how your doodling relaxes me so much. In North Queensland at the moment, crocodile country and it’s very hot considering it is the last few days of winter.

Thank you for showing some nice doodles and sharing some uplifting words. As for the "Zentangle police" - they really take the Zen out of it. For my liking they take themselves much too seriously, with being certified and all that. I prefer your way of teaching 🙂 As for the weather: it's 15 °C which isn't cold for 11.30 pm and during the day it was about 22 °C and sunny. I still have the window wide open because the air is so nice, I'm now wearing a fleece jacket though 🤣 Happy Birthday to your husband; going for dinner is a nice way to celebrate 🥰

😅 22:30 - 24:00 😅 😂 I don't know why, but when I see this I automatically smile because my phantasy builds a sort of comic: Sun, rain, funny objects, ... I saw this part of the video again and again, everytime I got the same happy ideas. I cannot explain it, but it thrills me.😅

Hello from a rainy and cold Vancouver, Canada. Thank you so much for your videos, Cate. I truly enjoy them and have watched many a few times over. I like the calm pace and playfulness. You've shaken something loose in my creativity and for the first time in decades, I'm spending a lot more time in my sketchbooks. Actually, I'm making my own sketchbooks because I couldn't find what I was looking for, which is another sign that my creativity is flourishing.

I totally enjoyed this exercise. I don't usually like my doodles but the two I did with you I really do like. Maybe even doodling takes some practice and repetition? I use the prompt "what if..." which I think helped light up my attitude.

Just listening to you is relaxing. Happy birthday to husband 😀 Your mention of doodling in meetings reminded me of a boss I had many years ago. We had a weekly meeting first thing on a Monday and he would do a little motivational speech (!). He used to keep an eye on me and if I started doodling he knew it was time to wrap up. Not that I used that to my advantage 😉.
