I completely understand you. ❤. I am 53. Aside from having my kids, I have not stayed in the hospital until 12/30. I went into MedCheck that afternoon because I had swelling in my legs and ankles as well as shortness of breath. My heart rate was over 200 and I was moved to the ER. I was then transferred by ambulance to ICU of my local hospital once a bed opened up over 12 hours later. I was in ICU for five days. They needed to get control of my heart rate and my blood pressure. They diagnosed me with AFIB and hyperactive thyroid, Graves Disease. It has been one wild ride, but I am grateful. I received a diagnosis within 24 hours. Some people wait years to find out what’s wrong. And I feel fantastic now!!! So many little things that I have been dealing with were all related to my thyroid. And I believe we caught it just in time before it did significant damage to my heart. ❤. We have two kids, ages 18 and 16. And two rescue doggies. I left that day to go to MedCheck and wasn’t able to return until 5 days later. I have never been so happy to be home. 🙏🏻. So glad you are ok!!! ❤ 🙏🏻

Health issues are scary! I had a heart problem six or seven years ago and I dread my annual echocardiograms. I pray that you don’t have any more bleeding. Clothes…I have the opposite problem with pants as my waist is much bigger than my hips. I was just thinking tonight that I hate the way my pants look on me, but I really need to lose weight so I’m hesitant to buy anything new. My goal is to learn to make pants, but fitting is difficult. Thanks for sharing the Bible passage; it’s a great reminder.

Wow, you are a busy gal! I'm so glad you're able to close the chapter on your medical issue. I feel like things that happen in THAT area of our body are far more emotional than any other place on the body. Ugh! You were a trooper! Thank you for sharing the story and using your platform to remind us all that we need to take care of ourselves, even when it's not a particularly comfortable thing to do. I really enjoyed your husband appearing (cooking) too - you two are good together. I love your relationship with your daughter and I hope she's feeling better. And, I swear you're the sister I never had because we have so many things we have in common. Hugs to you!🥰

Going through the “procedure” that you have just endured makes all of us weepy. I think our Adrenalin pumps up in anticipation of what is going to happen. Once they have the biopsy and we can get dressed, our Adrenalin crashes which affects our emotions. It is the release of emotion that causes the tears (again, just my thoughts). You certainly are not alone in your reaction and I must say you are a pretty crier. I would be a 20-tissue sniveling mess. You are extremely courageous to share your journey with all of us. I hope you can feel the love, warm hugs, and support being sent your way.

I'm 52 and back in 2016, after bleeding for over 365 days straight (yes, you read that right!), I had a uterine ablation. That did nothing. Finally had a hysterectomy (kept my ovaries) and it was the greatest thing that ever happened to me! It was finally confirmed what was suspected - I had adenomyosis (apparently, it can't be tested for until the hysterectomy is completed). Praying for you to get all of this figured out!

I’m so sorry you’re going through the bleeding issue. I hope this helps you as you move forward with getting answers and seeking solutions. I went through a period of bleeding for 20+ days, and five days off. I, too, know my God is good and sovereign. I had many cysts in my uterus, after removing that I was fine for about six months. But then I woke with extremely high pain, and they found a large tumor twisted on my ovary, which had a 50/50 chance of being cancerous, it needed to be removed, and thank God it wasn’t cancer. I pray for you to find answers you are seeking, and some solution to help you. Lots of love and hugs.

Hi Bobbie! Thanks for sharing everything with us. I was spotting since I was put on a hormone vaginally and ended up having a d and c a few years ago. It was negative thankfully! But I unseated the emotions and worry that goes along with it . Are you on a medication for hot flashes? I know you said you had them bad. I was cracking up about you driving Rachel to the Poconos. It’s nice you did that, but I can’t believe after all that she was sick and missed the wedding! Life is so interesting. Thank you for sharing this. I am 55 .. I’ve been super regular my whole life and all of the sudden last year started having heavy heavy bleeding..now it’s been everyday bleeding since about Sept 15th except for a short 10 days stretch as she was giving me hormone meds but that didn’t continue to stop the bleeding..I have also went through the sonograms, biopsies, hysterscopy like you and have continued to bleed. It’s very frustrating. I think a hysterectomy is next as so many don’t have good results with the ablation. Keep sharing your story as through you sharing I have been able to read how I’m not alone and many women face this.

I think many of us have been where you are and YES it’s very scary and very uncomfortable. When it happened to me… lots of intermittent bleeding etc. my doctor was going to do a biopsy BUT when she got in there she decided to do a D&C. The pain was awful. I moved a lot through my life so always having to get new Dr’s etc. At 52, in a new state, new Dr. I only went because I was sure I had a large tumor growing out of my vagina because every time I went to the bathroom I felt this big thing. When I went to the dr Said “no tumor but a prolapsed uterus!” I asked what did one do about that and she said a hysterectomy 😌👍😃. I was soooo happy. No more messing with female issues ☺️👍

Hi Bobbie, I would have driven my daughter too. Peace of mind is so important. I, too, have a problem with pants fitting properly. Such a source of anxiety for me, and I must admit that I have gone into dressing rooms asking God to please please let them fit. So glad your tests came out normal. I had pain for years with no bleeding. My gynecologist did several endometrial biopsies which showed a thickening of the uterine lining. After many months of pain, I had a D and C which just confirmed the same thing. A couple of months later I had a hysteroscopy which showed something. Had a hysterectomy right away and the lab found a uterine cancerous tumor which was very small. I did not need any further treatment and felt better and better as the months went on. I guess my message to you is if you are not feeling the way you think you should, insist on a different test. God bless!

I’m so glad you’re ok but sorry you had to go through all that. Agree we need to deal with health scares as well as recommended testing. I was in the middle of dealing with kidney stones and infections when they did an US and said I should see a gynecologist oncologist ASAP because it looked like I had cancer. No gyn symptoms so I was totally shocked. Had a D&C but couldn’t get enough for good biopsies and then a transvaginal ultrasound with inconclusive findings. Recommendation was to have a hysterectomy. Fortunately doctor decided to do a Hysteroscopy and biopsy first and found just a benign polyp. Whew!

We LOVE the mangoes but I can’t have them in my house. Carbs and sugar is insane!

I had a very similar experience with a younger practitioner in the office. I don’t see that doctor anymore. Experience matters with that procedure. I was successful with another doctor. Also, I hate the patch as well. Younger practitioner wanted me to try it. Back to my old regime.

My doctor is actually older than I am. Yeah, I hated the patch!!!!

I’m so glad that you are ok, I pray a lot to the Lord I know He watches over us. I love your videos. Sometimes I just don’t comment, and don’t always get to watch. But I love your sweet personality, we are about the same age also. Godbless

There are a lot of people who only watch and never comment - I rarely comment on videos either. Thank you for taking the time today! 🥰

You can ask for stronger pain meds and/or anesthesia for that procedure.

Has the magnesium glycinate helped with your sleep? I get the same kind from Costco.

Try some gummies… my doctor recommended them and they work for me. I don’t take them all the time just when I haven’t slept good for a few days.
Love the story of the bible verse....Jesus is always watching over us....even over something like this...just love it! thank you for sharing!

Bobbie, have you had a C125 blood test for cervical cancer? My doctor suggested that I have one before my hysterectomy. It’s worth asking for - for peace of mind. 🌺

@ Thank you. My doc seems pretty confident that it’s a polyp. I’m hoping that’s the case. I’m so happy that all is well for you.
