It is his store so his rules, right to refuse customers. But this is like the saying in the States, "You have freedom of speech, but you aren't free from the consequences." He might be free to say and do this, but the consequences might be that he is going to drive away customers because of his actions.

Yeah, I agree with this comment. It was a dumb thing to over react to, however it is his store, and he can have dumb rules.
