@@jayhosh8126 when a studio gives you the ultimatum of reduce costs or end the show prematurely, and you refuse to reduce costs, the series is effectively cancelled. @@thebigragu9952 he's too much a perfectionist and that's the issue, he ends up putting way too much money on a project that gains not nearly enough back, which I agree is amazing for someone who enjoys good quality movies and shows, but this is other side of the extreme, if he can't sink endless money that he doesn't have into a show then he doesn't want to continue, it's a psychological issue he has and it doesn't fall on Netflix who stated this issue and left it open because they want a season 3. The seasons out already had an absolute unnecessary amount of CGI due to this guys OCD, he also is not satisfied with the money made so his greed also sent him into other attempts and currently ditching this series.

If they are going to do Season 3 it has to involve BTK as the main plot, because it is going to be the last season. What they should do is split the timeline between the past and the future when BTK is apprehended, so they can get into the psychology of BTK. Switching between an older Holden and a younger Holden or something.
