Been thinking about Jeff today. I grew up with Jeff. Started jamming with him when he was in 7th grade. He came over to our drummer's house for a jam session and was doing slide guitar solos on the mic stand. Through our teens and early 20s Jeff played with local Akron bands and we would cross paths now and then with jam sessions in local bars. I still can't believe he is gone. RIP old friend.

Hey, Denny. I met Jeff at coffee house in Fairlawn..we jammed few gigs..he was younger then me but a mature level about him in life and with music. I didn’t find out about his illness till later. Truly a kind gentle soul..

I was blessed to see Jeff Golub, in concert, twice. He was a cool cat, and amazing musician. His loss was deep and profound. RIP Jeff Golub, and thanks for the music!

My favourite blues piece "I'll play the blues for you" Check out the original by Albert King. I also saw Jeff twice in concert, he was amazing. Check out Rod Stewart unplugged concert videos and you will see Jeff in the background. He plays the steel guitar very well, like any guitar of course.
