I'm more of a spooky than spoopy Halloween person. These are awesome, I'm definitely stealing the tear and shares. Never thought of that. One year I made my own clear hard candy and cooled it on a large baking sheet so it was thin. When I broke it it looked like actual glass shards. I decorated cupcakes with them and they were a hit, but tear and share is way easier and less time consuming.

For the spider web, a continuous spiral instead of concentric circles also works. (Our family celebration cake has a spider web on poured chocolate glaze. We pull the web both directions.)

Hi love this video … I am a beginning baker don’t have much experience .. I’m not looking to do anything to fancy.. just fun at home for the kids. My question is what type of frosting do you use? Is it the pre made ones that they sell in the market in the little containers ? Or do you make your own frosting ?

I used pre-made for this! But yes you can totally make your own buttercream, it's really simple! Just butter + powdered sugar and a little milk :) and then you can add food coloring if you'd like.
