You forgot one of the biggest issues with online games. They either continue to exist for ages after taking over the industry becoming less and less recognizable to the point that the early adopters no long play the game or the servers get shut down after a few years and the game is no longer playable in any form. It's a really fun game with a good story and lots of easter eggs Rocksteady is known for. It's not a bad game at all ans the gameplay is quite fun once you get more abilities and upgrades and learn how the characters work. Plus the loot is actually useful and not just random things with arbitrary numbers so you actually know what it does and you can fit things to your playstyle more.

If I had a nickel for every game set in the DC universe where Brainiac is the main villain and evil versions of the Justice League play a main part in the story, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

Everyone that made rocksteady left when this "game" started development. It's unfortunate people pay money to pay more. We'll never get another game as good as the Arkham series.

You don't want to talk about about Jared Leto Jonkler, but the devs "Alternate Timeline Joker" that's gonna be added "next season", definitely looks like they wanted to immortalize his Jonkler in a Game. Also, the first one had Deadshot, so apparently they don't want us to forget about "Will Smith Deadshot" either.

it's above average for me personally, I'm finding it super addictive. a lot more fun than I thought it would be and the graphics also look much better than I was expecting. Love the mood of it, the traversal is super fun, story mode excellent. the mood also feels to me very similar to the batman Arkham games, loved them to death. And this change in gameplay is fine, it's like if Left 4 Dead and Sunset Overdrive had a baby and I think it's just cool to get to play an Arkham game like that for a change of pace. And the riddler challenges are super fun. awesome boss fights. And I'm having fun just playing it as a single player experience
