58:30 "Don't focus on the goal" I respectfully disagree, but not completely. I'd just slightly change that to, don't be hyper focused on the goal. Focus on the goal to a certain extent is good motivation. Looking at the light at the end of the tunnel can offer direction and motivation for most people. Just not getting too wrapped up in it, and also enjoying the process. Balance.
@evec20223 ай бұрын
We can keep an eye on a few things at the same time!
@closinginonclosure3 ай бұрын
@evec2022 Exactly. I honestly can't think of a scenario where being goal oriented doesn't serve as one of the primary sources of motivation. I'd argue that without a defined goal and focus on it, it can be demotivating and make you feel like you're spinning your wheels without direction. Which is why I think the better advice is to focus on the goal, but be cognizant and realistic with expectations regarding the time frame it will take to achieve the goal. Essentially, focus on the goal, but also focus on having patience in achieving that goal. You're building a mountain, one stone at a time.
@evec20223 ай бұрын
@@closinginonclosure I think we are all debating semantics. The goal can sometimes be lofty and it will always be on our mind, but in our every day work, we need to break it down into smaller chunks that we can strive for.

@HitstikFit3 ай бұрын
1. When youve reached near peak perfomance (stalled progress or reverse progress) 2. When its too much food to eat every day and its a chore to keep eating 3. If you start seeing negative changes in body composition (no muscle gain, all fat gain) Any one of these is a good reason to cut

Depends on a lot of things. Would you feel satisfied if you cut your calories by 500? Is 2000 calories sustainable for you? If it is, you can cut. Also, maybe you should try getting a DEXA scan now and get another one in another few months and see if you'be gained some muscle. Then if you have and you're satisfied with the amount of muscle you've gained then you could start a cut.

What is the fascination about BF%? If you can see veins on the forearms, veins in the inguinal area, visible serratus muscles, then you have low BF....%, as for the actual number - who cares. The aforementioned could be classified as lean. When you see visible abs, that have defined separation, then you can be classed as ripped. And if you have striations in your butt, consider yourself, ultra low in body fat, something that is not sustainable, possibly very unhealthy and certainly no role model to a young, impressionable mind. If you go from wearing 40 inch pants to 34 if not smaller, then awesome - again, why fixate on the BF%.?

Depression and anxiety are higher because the evil people in government and the billionaires are creating an evil society and abusing every vulnerable person and situation and milking it for all it's worth. People are aware of this now, whereas previously, we were blissfully ignorant. There is much more to the equation now than being a good person, working hard, and paying it forward. There are a lot of road blocks that could trip you along the way. Was it better to be blissfully ignorant? Yes, but then we wouldn't have made any progress in cleaning it up.
