Let me clear my doubt first, Red dust around all the kaiju is archetype particle which in series is described as calamity's warning or red carpet for destruction of the world. It's arrival was already predicted by the mysterious Researcher. Is that right??? There was some brief talk, possibly with Toho themselves considering it, that _Shin_ could possibly get a sequel; but never anything firm, and nothing from Anno if he would even have been interested in being involved.

A nice little way of paying respect to those three kaiju, especially titanosaurus and varan, both extremely under rated and forgotten. As for gorosaurus despite being a popular monster in his own right, if you’re going to have some of the showa era monsters in this anime, why not include gorosaurus, because he’s the most popular of them all ( except for Rodan and of course, Godzilla himself.) really was a nice and clever little idea to give those monsters some recognition, but seeing Godzilla terrestris have a manilla like trait, it’s safe to assume the same idea was meant for Manilla as well, despite being extremely unpopular and hated.

Interestingly enough, this version of Godzilla is most terrifying and most intimidating type of kaiju up to date with his Legendary Godzilla counterpart. With additional fangs, scary eyes, and large spiky dorsal plates. I can't wait to watch this June.

Technically,. the first view of Gojira was in the painting at the bus stop in episode 1, and the second view was of the bones in the basement at the end of episode 1. Since Godzilla was a Singular Point, the previous appearances of the Big G were the same organism at different points in it's timeline.

@@iluvpercsss it's not that I didn't see them, but compared to like Shin, the changes were like, cut to another scene and then back to G, hang on, did something change? Sort of thing. It can be, and I say, can be, confusing to most viewers. It's only cos I recognize the dorsal fin I can make and educated guess, but many folks wouldn't. So catching a vid like this was just to confirm my assumptions.

Wow, I'm so shocked that in 98 the people that made the infamous first American Godzilla never had these ideas...it goes to show the lack of passion they had. Since that film was so badly received and the cartoon sequel in contrast was so well favored by both Japan and the fans, I always thought on the idea before the show that the monster in the filmed (christened Zilla by Japan) instead of being killed, would revive mutating into another form going closer to the traditional Godzilla but updated similar to these form. Then when the cartoon series was released and Japan accepted the cartoon kaiju as Godzilla, I thought about IT mutating then, making him closer to the updated modern traditional Godzilla. And an evil Godzilla would be made from the remains of Zilla looking too like the original but different from the good one. One would be called Gojira, the other Godzilla to differentiate them and their fights would always end in stalemate. Essentially giving a set destructive antagonist on top of the new monsters that would appear in the show...so much could had been done, so much wasted potential smh

is also rumoured that they are using some of idea of shin Godzilla 2, which was not made but script was in progress of completion but Film was cancelled due to legendary and Toho deal! And the biggest part of rumours on internet is Godzilla S.P will eventually transform into gidorah because if have watched the anime then all the previous kaiju from old movies have been referenced in the ending song of the anime but in non of them refers to king gidorah. It is likely to happen in the end of ep 12 or in mid of ep 13. But take it with green and salt.
