Happy #TGiFoosday to everyone. I find in doubles, some goalies turn into spectators when they don't have the ball themselves. Bad bad bad. Also, it kills me when players camp the goal rod against the far wall when they shoot push (or pull) shots and can't break the habit, even after being stuffed over & over...... Thanks for the series Chase, keep em coming.

Thanks for the upload! Would love to see a left hook tutorial, or 2-5 tutorial. Zeke has one, but it wouldn't hurt to see a different insight?

Excellent info and presentation! I would like to know the best goalie D against a tic tack from the other goalie’s 2 rod where they’re going all the way to either side- I never know what I should be doing. Thanks !

My work has a cheap table. The defense is 1 goalie and 2 defensemen. The goalie isn't able to move over enough to cover the corner baseline slop goals.

I have a question! I've been playing with a guy who has a serious case of the spins, and he argues that he can spin as long as it's not a shot?? Like on defense, spinning the 5 bar? Isn't that still illegal, and what's the penalty for spinning?
@ChasePennell3 жыл бұрын
Yea it would be illegal. More of a distraction than a spin.

I have small hands and I can’t get control of either with the two hand apprpach

I have seen many people with small hands find a way to make that work.

Remember Nick, you can also hold your left hand on the goalie rod only, with the 2 rod near the center. But you must be able to quickly move your hand to the 2 rod to save the ball from getting out of your goal area. Takes repetitive practice. I have small hands also and use a combination of both styles. The more you use one hand on both goalie rods, the more natural it will feel.
