The tip on being good enough is sooo what i needed to hear. I am a perfectionist trying to be less perfectionist. One thing that i keep reminding myself is worrying takes away joy in the present moment. I remind myself this when I start to worry and be overwhelmed. It has helped me ❤

Perfectionism is a frustrating thing 😩 I've gotten a lot better over the years but I still struggle with it!

Agreed, if you try and keep all the plates spinning perfectly, it becomes rigid (and anxious making). Love the scenes with the leaves and the pink flowers on the tree.

Thank you 😊. This was a great video. I am in a season of life where I no longer have young kids to actively parent, work and finances are stable and I am less concerned about what other people think. I have found, especially lately, that letting things go and not getting caught up in controlling have helped me immensely. I love how you talked about not fighting against things. Makes so much sense 😊

Yeah this must be a problem for someone who is like an extreme Type A with anxiety issues. Therapy, books, pills, eating healthy, exercise, sleep, and reading the Bible has really helped me. My spiritual health being a priority tends to make other things makee more sense and fall into the right place. Overthinking, over planning, and worrying , etc steals peace. Wishing you the best.

You have no idea how useful I found this video. I'm currently a mum who juggles being my 4yrold daughters main carer, doing all school drop offs/ playing with her etc. I also work 4 full days a week and 1 afternoon teaching yoga to children. I'm so grateful for everything I have and get to do but this week I started having anxiety attacks and feeling like I can't cope. I have overworked myself and like you said tried to have it all at the same time. It's great if you can juggle all those things and keep it all stable but it just takes too much of your time, mentality, LIFE, trying to be present for it all. I've learnt this week more than ever that I MUST slow down and give something up that's going to benefit my mental health and my family. It won't be easy, but hopefully like your video states, the act of slowing down will give me a life I feel proud to live and not afraid in❤❤❤❤❤

Being a mom is a huge job!! Working on top of that and all the other things we need to do in life can be A LOT sometimes. Good for you for recognizing areas where you need to let go/slow down, it really helps 💖

It's so interesting to hear this from you, because living intentionally and minimally, and when you started you were so good at cutting things out that didn't make sense for your life. To know that you also struggle with time management as a mother is so reassuring. I often question, should I declutter more toys? It's not a recipe for having it all.

❤😊 thank you so much for making this video. Because that's where I'm at right now in this time of my life. All over the place really feeling very much at uneasy. Struggling just to not balance everything I was feeling that I needed to balance everything and it's not working. And your video came up and I guess I'm right on track for being unbalanced cuz that's the way things are for me. And now I've learned that it's okay to be okay with things that are not okay 🆗

Imbalance is definitely such a part of life! Gotta be ok with letting certain things go sometimes.

Balance and gratitude are key. In light of everything that has happened here in southeast U.S., it's more important than ever to keep the proper perspective on life and be appreciative of our blessings.

Hi I rem when my 3 children was little I found I was tireing my self out tidy up after the children all day.i then let go one day and tidied only when the children went to bed.i gave my self a time limit of an hr whizzed round then had the rest of the eve to relax .and do my crafting ..i used to cook massive saucepans full of stew soups and chilli so I froze alot so I wasn't always haveing to cook all day every day.i would thaw it out warm it throu and that was a nice day that wasn't so hectic .x

My daughter is 3 weeks old today and I needed to hear this! I love her so much and trying to figure out what life looks like now. For the most part, it’s all about her, but there is a small portion that requires me to do work (WAHM) and I have to figure out how to work that in to my day.

It is okay to not have much time to do videos when you are doing so much in your life right now as a mom and such. That's really good!! I have found balance by just putting some of my hobbies on the backburner while raising my little one. I have two older teens and they are easy to raise now but when they were tiny, I also put thing son the backburner just like I am doing again. Everything is a balance and I am okay with making my children my priority. A lot of people don't agree with that but you only have so much time to raise your children while they are growing and learning before you go back. I'd rather regret not working on my hobbies than not taking the time to raise my kids. . so that's what I mean. I just weigh pros and cons of everything. I have fun regardless!

Thanks for this video topic, I have actually been struggling with this recently trying to balance two large life paths but I think as you say one needs more attention now than the other and that's ok. ❤

I really love the topic of this video and your thoughts, it’s so true - the flow and that you can’t have it all done - not at once, otherwise we’ll be in overflow😊 What I try to practice is to try to see what I have done today and not what I haven’t. Focusing on the full half of the glass. By the way, I love your haircut, it really suits you!
