It’s great to get him use to that type of environment…short trip to the park, staying in hotel or condo…it will make life easier in the future to travel with him because you started early with him! And Fall and Christmas is right around the corner…lots of outings to come!

I love this so much. As a mother of three i remember those daring outings and having to step away from a store or restaurant. But now my kids are 25, 22 and 16 and they LOVE going places with me and enjoy people ❤

LOVE . . . . Its funny to see his expressions when the video is on him.. question and I dont ask this in a mean way AT ALL, but are you starting to wean him off the pacifier? I ask that because having it in his mouth all the time (even in times its not needed like when he is playing) it can be very hard to wean the more he uses it. My sister is a pediatrician and they suggest that you begin the weaning at 7 months.. a lot of parents use the pacifier it for their sanity not having to listen to the baby fuss vs whether he needs it. My sister taught me with my kids to slowly start removing it through the day and only use it at night .. but the more he has that in his mouth the harder it becomes.. just some advice from someone who went through hell getting my first child off it. love you guys

Glad you all had a good time! I took my daughter to an amusement park when she had just turned 2. Definitely had it's difficulties but it was so much fun! We made a lot of great memories 😃 I feel like some people in the comment section would be surprised to know people travel to other countries with their babies 😅 You don't have to keep them couped up in the house.

Disney is definitely better for little ones. My kids liked universal starting at about 3. But it’s better when they’re 48 inches. (My son was at age 5.5/ 6)

I took my youngest to Disney at 7 months and it was so much fun with the characters. There’s so much more to do with little ones at Disney. Older to went to Disney for the first time at 3 and 4. Universal is more geared towards older kids. Disney is more “all ages.”

Hey Mindy looks like y'all had a fun time. we waited for my son to be 5 to go to Disney the first time. I'm not a fan of Harry Potter so I wouldn't have done Harry Potter. In my opinion Disney has more stuff for babies and little ones Not a judgement just saying. Also babies are easy and flexible, they are joining our lives. I never rearranged anything or stopped doing things because I had a baby. Next time you go out to eat maybe bring things that will entertain him special toys, good snacks and maybe even something to watch. Thanks for sharing 😊 please don't take offense to anything. I think that age is great, especially since he is good at napping on the go......we tried to take our 1 almost 2 year old to Disney for the first time this past July and she was an absolute pyscho😂😂😂she literally wanted to run and walk all over, refused the stroller, and wouldn't hold anyones hand. It was like chasing a chicken who throws tantrums lol. The only way to have peace was to carry her the whole time, thank god for the hip seat. But overall it was a nightmare lmao. It seems much easier to take a non mobile baby his age than a crazy toddler.

I have 3 children my oldest is 27. When my kids were young, I took them everywhere all the time. I never wanted to ever be away from them. When they all were school age, I drove the school bus and volunteered in the school. My kids are the best thing I've done in my life. You are such a beautiful family, baby #2 ?

I am the same with my only daughter and i will never understand when i see parents traveling without kids and they excuse themselves like they need time as couple but hey didnt you had a lot of time before bringing a child to this world. I would not even enjoy a vacation without my little one so no i will never understand that!

Disney is much more age appropriate….more colorful…geared towards kids. Universal definitely isn’t. Still see a a little young to attempt either though! Same goes with the books you are reading to him…needs to be age appropriate so he can learn.

I do have a question: Do you and Larry call each other mommy and daddy to let Liam know that is what you call each other and he does too. I have a friend and her husband that called each other by there first name and their daughter, as an adult, still refers to her parents by their first name. Wow Mindy these comments are something else. Kinda sad to see such awful and mean comments toward you and Larry. I’m a mother of 3 children and we all parent differently. We all have different opinions on what is “right & wrong” to do with a baby but that doesn’t mean we should be bringing down another mother. If you felt this was a good idea or even thought it was then decided it wasn’t that’s all part of parenting. What works for you and your family or what is a good idea for you and your family, might not be for another family and guess what that’s OKAY! Hope these comments don’t deter you from doing what you think is right or want to try experiencing as a parent again!
