Thanks for this, the alarm isn’t very loud but you’d need loads of music blocks to do that. Also the thief may actually find the alarm quite easily. But this is a good and easy alarm system for small houses and buildings that doesn’t take up much room.

other ideas to add to this alarm.... extend power feeding note blocks to say the top of your house to turn on and off lights outside so you know if someone broke in before you get too close also a beacon with a sticky piston attacked to a corner block to push and pull a block to cycle beacon(s) and stained glass to change color of beacon lights as well (for those who didnt know you could do that)

An idea that would definatly let you know that someone is raiding is you could have a wolf and when intruder comes in a potion will kill the wolf so it will notify you even if you are in the nether

If you can't play multiplayer, you can put a pressure plate outside to allow mobs to enter. I know most people don't want that, but you can get some xp and loot from it

yes a lever is 2 note blocks, a preasure plate is a lever, and a button is a pressure plate, a iron door is a button, 2 note blocks are 1 iron door.

I've tried making it to where in order to turn the alarm off, you would have to guess the password to open the glass to the lever to turn it off.
