This thing should work from all Versions... like 1.14 to 1.17+ • As long as an Enderman is attracted to the Endermite.. It works k :) You cant spawn the endermite in creative.. it has to be legit!

I really do prefer this design over the void model just for the safety aspect alone. It can be frustrating trying to find a good candidate island, and despawning can be a bit of a pain. However to me, thats a lot less nerve wracking than building over the ALL CONSUMING HUNGERING SLOBBERING VOID

Built it. Had troubles getting highest of 3 trap doors at 2:00 min in video -had to put a block down to get it -it wanted to spawn on top of back closed section of wall -which would prevent the next two blocks. What is the name tag for? -why is it essential? At 3:45 I wanted to see how to dig my way back up -but you *mysteriously created a tunnel to top ground level -so, I took slab off, rocketed back up enderman chute and climbed out -then dug back down to tunnel, then placed slab again. Went back up, removed blocks -an enderman came over and beat the crap out of me, and I flew away and went down chute to check on endermen falling to deaths -hmmn, nothing.... afaict nothing happened. Went up, checked on endermite, it was gone. FAIL. Not sure my trapdoors opened the right directions -I couldn't tell from the video on the ones that didn't get flapped. So, a no-go for me.

Is the entity cramming intentional? If you widen the landing by one block on each side there would be enough room for them so you could kill all of them. I dont think it would make it any faster it seems you are at max absorption for xp already but maybe a little quieter if you stop to eat, switch mending tools, or enchant. Anyway love how simple this is and will definitely be building this.

You could put a vine on the block the endermen fall on as well, might be easier :)

@@sidacharya9339 they would still die from entity cramming they just may not take fall damage which is what you want to make it one hit kill. I was saying if the landing pad was 3 wide and 3 tall it would be room enough for 72 mobs (I believe single player mob cap is 70 but could be wrong). If they are constantly taking damage, dieing, respawning, and falling it would be loud even if you aren't hiting them.

@@graehart I don’t know about those, I know for sure tho that normal green vines and ladders work. That’s why if you ever built a chicken farm they have a ladder or in a blaze farm

Why couldn't you have posted this a day earlier? I literally built my SMP's enderender today using the "over the void at y1" method and let me tell you, getting down to y1 over the void is no fun. This is way less complicated and way less resource-intense, lol. Also no chance of the endermen simply teleporting behind you and getting you from behind, which is what kept happening at my version, lol.
