3:14 there was water.... right there... (these are just things I need to say that randomly wrote down as I watched the video, please read them because it'll be SUPER useful:) XP is for enchanting and using anvils man! cmon bebop, xp is older than most people who still play Minecraft lol. Iron nuggets have a few minor crafting recipes, but their main benefit is just being used to turn back into iron bars (just like gold). PLEASE make a shield, in bedrock against mobs like skeletons there just pretty OP and really needed for dire situations. Obsidian is simply made when you get lava *source* blocks and they come into contact with water. You're going to have the best love/hate relationship with the nether, you spawned in a pretty bad biome for it but its not too bad if you can just torch up the place and make a nice hut (out of some stone blocks) for your portal. good advice: you can easily out run magma cubes usually. Also crouching on magma blocks will stop them from hurting you. I don't want to spoil too much but these are just things that are really important but you probably won't ever figure out by yourself: In the new nether there are of course zombie piglins (not pigmen anymore for some reason), I'm sure you remember... do not hit them. But now there are also regular piglins which will attack you by default. HOWEVER you *can* stop them from attacking you through wearing gold (one peice is enough so most people use boots). Just do not mine any gold, eat any pork chops, or hit them (of course) and they'll be allies with you! The lag of going through the portal is typical for bedrock which is ironic because bedrock is supposed to be optimised (which is why its known as "bugrock" in the community ahahah). But yeah, make a hut for your portal. Simple tip: if armour is in your hot bar you can left click on it without opening your menu to simply put it on quickly (while in a hurry to get your stuff again ahahah). I think you need to remember to take a bed with you when deep mining, you can place it down there and use it to save a respawn point and as long as you don't break it or sleep on any other bed you'll spawn there when you die, saves you a lot of travel

@@BebopVox Not sure if it will pop up in your recipe book but the "crying obsidian" the cracked purple obsidan, is used to create nether anchors, which act like respawn points in the nether. First thing i do when going to the nether, is build a box around your portal and light it up, this hopefully stops spawn camping mobs from attacking you while zoning.
