You might want to build a shield and put it in your off-hand. It helps with getting shot in the face, Creeper explosions and so on. You can also put other items in your left hand like a t̶o̶r̶c̶h̶ map or token.

On Java edition (which hopefully he switches to soon) you can put anything in your off-hand! But yes, highly recommend a shield. Helps reduce or even completely negate a lot of damage.

I tried and it looses on mobs, villagers, animals etc... used Chunker and one other. I just keep hearing bedrock is hard-hard mode.

@BebopVox That's a shame. As long as you're enjoying Bedrock, though, then no worries of course! Java has no microtransactions though, and a lot less bugs. But maybe that could be for a season 2 one day. :)

No he don't, he's playing bedrock edition and the sword charge mechanic only exist in Java edition. @BebopVox try farming potato as you can cook it in furnace and it's a better food source than carrots plus potatoes can also be used to breed villagers/pigs.

@@BebopVox also they changed how you find iron underground, basically the deeper you go the harder it gets to find iron/coal vains, the best place to find lots of iron is a biome called rocky peaks.
