im going to answer some questions because WOW this is getting a lot of attention. “why is it called a meme?? it isnt funny” the definition of a meme roughly translates to a trend of some sorts, something that has an original format that is intended to be remade or imitated. most of the time the word meme alone is used to describe funny stuff, yes, but in the animation community it can also be used to describe animation trends. one person makes the format, and other people make their own with their own characters. kind of like how with regular memes theres an original format and people add in their own jokes. ive noticed a lot of main stream people stumble upon animation memes after several years of them being very unknown, so i hope this explanation helps. “did the dog die? did you lose your friends? what do the flowers mean?” no, mcdougal (the dog) is fine haha my friends are still with me today n going strong, we didnt drift apart. the ones in the background at the end are just facing away because i didnt meet them through minecraft. the flowers mean something a bit personal so ill only say that theyre called “forget me nots” “PEWDIEPIE???” i love pewdiepies minecraft series as much as the next guy, but this video has nothing to do with it. no, it isnt sven. his name is mcdougal. “whats your minecraft username and what servers do you play on? also how long have you been playing?” my minecraft username is cudlil, no numbers or extra letters. i play on the hive and cubecraft. ive been playing for six years now and i met these guys (five people featured at the end) around four years ago. the 10 year thing at the end is referencing minecrafts recent ten year anniversary, which i was two months late for unfortunately lol. if youve read to the bottom, i thank you.

This brang back memories of my old friend group, we all used to play minecraft together, until one day one of the girls got leukemia. It was super depressing and hard for us all to deal with, especially her, but we kept playing together. And after about 2 and half years, she was lying on her deathbed, and the kemo was not helping her enough. When she was close to death, she got us all in a video chat. And she had told us goodbye, and we kept saying, " you're not going anyway, you can make it through this" but we all knew deep inside that she wasn't going to make it. The next week she had passed away, and we all sat in a moment of silence for weeks, until one day, one of the guys asked if we could get on that night cause there was something important he wanted to show us. and we all did. That night we walked through her minecraft base on our private server, and had found a lever, when we pressed it, it opened up a small door that led to a room with multiple chests. Each chest had one of our names labeled on it, and each one was filled with letters from her to us. That night I was reading them, one particular one stuck out to me. "Even when I'm gone, I'll always be here." It may. It sound like much, but to me that was everything. I miss her so much to this day, but I know she's in a better place now. Thank you for sharing this video cudlil, it brought back some of my best times with her. (Sorry for bad grammar, english is not my first language)

So we made a Golden Lung Statue in Minecraft and showed it to her when she was dying. But when she died we made her skin a statue to remind who United us first. Live on Minecraft! 10 years celebration to you! Edit: The world's statue is still standing(seed: notch(yes low cap) in a MCPE world, the grassy plains near spawn that was where the statue was. I'm pretty sure that this animation is supposed to represent how powerful a game like Minecraft can be, especially considering the community/online aspect. It can help you get over real-world situations, and you can form true relationships over the simple act of placing and removing blocks. Even if someone that is extremely close to you gets taken away from you, whether it be from the video game or from this earth, thee only true way to overcome it is to stay close to those you love. When i was 4-6 me and my older brother made a world based off of Stampy's lovely world, we made everything to our heart's content. later, my brother got a new ipad and exported the world into there, 2-3 years later, we got another new one but didnt export it. the ipad was wiped and given to our grandmother. This video really touches my heart. I lost a good friend of mine back in July 2019 due to a car accident. He had been one of my closest friends growing up and was the one who introduced me to minecraft (waaaayyy back in 2009) and playing the game always makes me feel like I'm reconnected to him. He was a really good friend and I miss him a lot. Thank you for making this video, it reminds me of the good times we used to spend together huddled around his computer, punchin' trees.

The music is what gets me.... Yes I had Minecraft friends that have moved on... I remember crying over one of my dogs dying IRL... My Minecraft friends started a new world just to create a 3D model of him. Years later, they no longer play Minecraft and that world was deleted. But I still remember them begging me to play the new world... and I remember choking on tears when I saw my dog again. The second song was playing when I logged off. That was the last world we played together...

Not Minecraft but I recently had a really important person suddenly passed away. The doctors didn't even fucking catch it. He meant a lot to me and my small group of friends. I know he wouldn't want me to cry right now, but this really reminds me of him. If it was not for him, I and my other friends wouldn't have came together.
