Minecraft - Apprentice - ft. Epic Fight + Epic Fight Animation

Hi All!! Please be informed that alot of my shared configs are outdated, apparently the author updated 1.16 version of Epic Fight mod (starting at version EpicFight-16.6.0-ALPHA.jar). This is a good thing actually, it far more easier to "maintain" config files for the latest, however at start you just need getting used to. I'll try to make updated config files but for the meantime here are some tips to setup your latest EFM using the latest config: 1. Go to EFM's curseforge - wiki page, there a documentation explaining how the new config works for Custom Weaponry, Entities and Even for the Amors. 2. Go to EFM's Discord - there are alot of config for the latest EFM version being shared there right now, people are friendly and eager to help in your config and setup troubles. You can download config files for EFM 1.18 or 1.16 and they work on both EFM versions as well so meaning if you are using 1.16 you can download configs made for 1.18 and apply it to your setup as long as the mod that the config is for is present as well in your 1.16 setup it will work. 3. Each config is now on a per file basis so if you need to add new weapons for example, that you just need to copy an instance of your existing config closest to the weapon you want to configure, rename it then play. e.g. Gladuis from medieval craft copy it to the datapack folder you are making for let's say spartan weaponry, then rename the Gladius config file as the copper shortsword (item name equivalent) then try running MC, when you use the weapon you will see the animation is already setup for you. 4. For the Custom Entity this is the same as item 3, config is on a per entity per file setup. Next custom entity config is now more configurable, you can now make an entity do various action/animation (animations supported by EFM) and apply them to specific weapon that the entity is holding, meaning you can configure your custom entity to use real player EFM animation and SKILLS too. Download samples from EFM discord and for there try to study how did they configure it (back-it up with EFM Wiki to understand each fields configured) I'll try to make eventually tutorials and share tips or generic config files to aid you in configuring stuff in the future ^_^ Thank you again for supporting the channel ^_^ Happy Minecrafting! and Have an Epic day.

@@logyscat Hehe It can't be helped at the moment I too would want a version for 1.12 (Planning to make just a light weighted action oriented version of minecraft) hehe but for now try atleast at 1.16.5. If you are facing performance related issues may I suggest try applying some perfomance mods to your minecraft setup. Hoho! ^_^

I know from seeing other mod authors doing weapon animations that it is just not feasible to do such a thing, since when you start mixing and matching there’s such a large amount of possible combinations that really only the same weapons could ever be done in a reasonable manner

New epic fight versions uses datapack in configuring custom stuffs, like entities and weapons. For starter you should check the wiki page of Epic Fight then go to their discord to download datapack config files for different mods, people are sharing configs there you can use those as sample or template if you are planning later on in making your own for mods that you like. ^_-

@@ryualcobatv2575 Oh when you download the config for medieval craft in the EFM discord, make sure to download both datapack and its texturepack equivalent. The texturepack fixes the entities texture issue during in-game. ^_- Also don't forget to say thanks to the creator of the config.

@@anosvoldigoad3021 I'm having trouble doing the tutorial myself hehe its more complicated than before but the thing is once you setup the config its much more easier and convenient to maintain and add new ones. I'm still in the process of creating it, trying to make it simpler step by step (that's the challenging part), but for the meantime I'll be sharing my config in my next upload. ^_-

Part of the latest version of Epic Fight mod. Check the description of the video, get the versions of epic fight mentioned there, and go to EFM's Discord to download the shared config files that configure's custom entities for other mod's mobs like Medieval Craft. ^_-

If you are playing on version higher than 1.16 then you need to learn that skill by killing mobs and with some chance they can drop book with dodge skill

Huh? not sure what are you referring to but if you are referring to the skellys having melee weapons I think their included in the latest EFM (Or perhaps a mod that I might included in the my setup? hehe I'll get back to you there). But I'm making a datapack and a MobPropertiesRandomness config for that giving Skelly different weapons and attack animations for use in my next video. I'll share the files afterwards ^_-

Mostly it does, you just need to set it up in Epic Fight. I'll be uploading stuff + a simple guide for now, you can use that. Try to comeback some time later. The animation is from a resource pack made by Aangst, go check the description of the video for the link of the Epic Fight Animation resourcepack, the author made updates for 1.16 as well having the same animation that I featured in this video. ^_^ and don't forget to a thanks in his curseforge page.

Why not switch to 1.16.5? if your not that particular with any other features of optifine then mind as well try Rubidium, Radium, Radon, Saturn, Iris, ferritecore, entityculling, entity_collision, betterfpsdist, AI-Improvements. Hehe I use that currently for my 1.18.2 setup but they're available for 1.16.5 as well. ^_-

After applying the mod Paxi, start your minecraft once, then exit. 2. Go to your minecraft\config folder then locate the folder "paxi" inside it there should be a sub-folder named "Datapacks" place your downloaded datapack config for the EFM config you downloaded from Discord. 3. Run minecraft then test it out. ^_-
